Muriel "Betty" of Saint Thomas, on Monday, January 3, 2005, at London Health Sciences Centre, South Street Campus, in her 77th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter PYNE and beloved mother of Peter and his wife Patricia of Saint Thomas and Richard of Florida. Loved sister of Thomas and his wife Gertrude CALDWELL of Brantford, Margaret and her husband Leo JOHNSON, Mary and her husband Charles WIGHTMAN, all of Saint Thomas, Jerry and and his wife Mildred CALDWELL of London and loved sister in law of Doreen CALDWELL of Wheatley and Reginald MILLER of Saint Thomas. Predeceased by brother Bob and sister Kathleen. Dearly loved grandmother of Victoria and her husband Jerry NEVILL, Christopher and his wife Liane PYNE all of Saint Thomas and Richard and Jeremy PYNE of Florida. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas on Friday at 3: 00 p.m. Visitation Friday from 2-3:00 p.m. Interment of the ashes in Elmdale Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

On Wednesday, December 14, 2005 a wonderful life came to an end. Gertrude was the cherished wife of Cecil for 66 years. Mom loved her three children, Jim (Mary), Brenda (Alex) and Wanda (Peter). She was the proud Nanny of Glenn (Liz), Sheila, Rick (Mandy), Donna, David (Nicole) and Sarah (Jim). Mom was blessed to have 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Blossom CARR and Dorothy GRANDY and sister-in-law of Olive MOORES and Rae PYNN. Mom's life was blessed by many Friends especially during these past few years. The loving care she received from the doctors and nursing staff at Guelph General Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Care and Community Care Access Centre was truly appreciated by all members of her family.
