Suddenly on Monday, November 14, 2005. Raffaele, beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of Guilia and her husband Remo DICARLO, Angela and her husband Roger EHMER and Tony ORFEI and his wife Lisa. Cherished Nonno of Francesca, Daniel, Alexandra, Adam, Alessia and Jenna. Visitation will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga (west of Cawthra), on Wednesday and Thursday from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at Holy Angel's R.C. Church, 61 Jutland Road, Toronto, on Friday at 10 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Raffaele was strong, vivacious, intelligent and overly exceptional.
God makes devotees like him husband.
God makes heroes like him dad.
God makes guardians like him nonno.
God makes helpful men like him friend.
God makes extraordinary idols like him stars.
God makes the best-of-us Angels.
Men like him show us that children grow into successful models of such intelligence, such a great stature, and such a grand helping hand. We can all learn from his greatness. Be like him more now than ever before. We love you.

Peacefully with her family by her side at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 5, 2005, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Bruce. Dear mother of Carolyn and her late husband Brian QUINLAN, and Don and his wife Patricia. Loving "Nan" of Tim and his wife Edna, Kelly and her husband Mike and Courtney and her husband Rob, Jimena and Renzo. Proud great-nanny of Jack, Brian, Ben, Michael, Molly, Wil and the late Quinlan. Survived by her sisters Martha and Jane, and her brother George. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret and Anne and her brother Patrick. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, (905-844-2600) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto. Special thanks to Dr. KEETON, Dr. ORFI, Dr. KEALEY and the Fourth Floor nursing staff for their exceptional care and compassion."Mom, your courage and sense of humour inspired us all"

Delbert Carl ORFORD
In loving memory of Delbert Carl ORFORD, January 5, 1924 - January 8, 2005.
Delbert ORFORD, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge and formerly of Union Road, Evansville, died at the Lodge on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Saskatchewan, son of the late Edmund and Viola (BADGEROW) ORFORD. Delbert had farmed all his life. He enjoyed most all sports, especially baseball and hockey and hunting and fishing and also enjoyed working in the bush. He was a veteran of WW2 and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 514. Delbert is survived by his loving wife Lois (LINLEY) ORFORD. Loved father of Terry, wife Vickie of Gore Bay, Randy of Spring Bay ,Tim, wife Lisa of Meldrum Bay and Kent, wife Nicole of Hanmer. Proud grandfather of Shauna (Rob), Terry Lynn (Darryl), Carl, Gavin, Mathieu, Alyx and Travis (Daylin) and great grandchildren Brady, Wyatt, Rory and Malia. Dear brother of Cliff (Nelda) of Evansville, Les (Darlene) of Spring Bay, Edna HIGGINS of B.C., Reona (Marvin) CAMPBELL of Little Current and sister-in-law Helen STRAIN (Jim) of Gore Bay. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd and Austin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home after 7 pm on Monday. The funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 11 am with Pastor Maxine McVEY officiating. Spring interment in Burpee Mills Cemetery. Branch 514 Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a memorial service at time of funeral.

STEPHENS, Theodore C. " Ted"
Of Port Stanley passed away at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, December 3, 2005, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of the late M. Eileen (LONG) STEPHENS (March 7, 2005.) Dear son of Elizabeth (ORFORD) STEPHENS of Port Dover and the late Colonel H. "Curly" STEPHENS. Loving father of Tom STEPHENS and his wife Carole HARGRAVE of Stittsville, Don STEPHENS and his wife Carri-Ann, Pat STEPHENS, all of Saint Thomas, and Margaret STEPHENS of Port Stanley. Cherished grandfather of Ainjel, Bronwyn, Kody and Zachary. Dear brother of Bill of Port Dover, Bob and his wife Sandy of Burlington, Gail ROLSTON of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Dwayne of Hamilton, Mike of North Bay, and Bruce of Erieau. Also survived by several in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Born in Providence Bay, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, February 2, 1939. He was a retired employee of Timken Canada. Ted was a Past President and Life Member of the Optimist Club of Port Stanley and was formerly active in the Port Stanley scouting movement. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, St. Thomas on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation gratefully acknowledged.
