DYNKA, Anna
On February 20, 2005 in her 97th year at Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Saint Thomas, Ontario, a former long time resident of Willowdale. Anna was born August 18, 1908 in Kenora, Ontario, daughter to the late Louis and Hannah BYNSKI of Kenora Ontario. Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph (1963), brothers Tony, Joseph, Louis and Charles and sisters Jenny and Mary. Anna will be missed dearly by daughter Dorothy G. CURRIE who shared a home together for 38 years. Anna also leaves behind Bridget McMILLAN (Ian) of Ajax, Ontario. Survived by brother Frank and sisters Eva O'LOAN and Steffie WICKSTROM, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service was held on April 2, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Interment has taken place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.

In her 101st year, passed away on December 23, 2005. Wife of George Edward who predeceased her by 34 years. Mother of June and the late Jim. Grandmother of Lisa and Steven, aunt of Phil and Margaret ALLCORN, Fred and Barbara GREGORY, Joan and Fred CHAPPLE, Andrew and Marlene PARKER, and Nancy and Terry O'LOANE. "Mom" to Don and Jacqueline BELLAMY, Grandma to Dawn and Kevin, Sarah and Dennis, and Stuart and Sue. Great-aunt to Susan and Peter, Mary and Leonard, and Jean and Mike and great-great-aunt to their children. She was known as "Grandma Myrt" to several hundred young people through Canadian Girls in Training and the Baptist Leadership Education Centre. Visitation at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Wednesday, December 28, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memoral service at Markham Baptist Church, 110 Church Street, Markham, Thursday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Baptist Women of Ontario and Quebec or the Markhaven Foundation.

Peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep at home in the early hours on Sunday, October 23, 2005, Eduardo Isidoro BERNARDO, in his 65th year. Loving husband of Maria Fermina G. BERNARDO. Beloved father of Maricar BERNARDO (Tober TUASON.) Dear granddad of Bettina Louise. Dear son-in-law of Severina GONZALES. Dear brother of Dr. Arturo I. BERNARDO (Marilyn) and Adelaida REYES. Dear uncle of Carrie, Carol, Angela, Anthony, Rowena OLORES (Jim,) Sherry, Gigi and Ron. Dear great uncle of Emma, Julia RENEE and Sean. Ed was a staff accountant at Ford Keast for more than 28 years. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Saturday morning at 10: 30 o'clock. Prayers Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens on January 11th, 2005, Mrs. Pauline GENTTNER in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Ray GENTTNER. Loving mother of Larry and his wife Cathy and Wayne and his wife Barb. Will be sadly missed by 8 grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also survived by sister Evelyn SLADE. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Edna CARTER, sister Kay O'LOUGHLIN and an infant brother. Visitation in the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel (520 Dundas Street, London) on Friday, January 14, 2005 from 12 noon-2: 00 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 15th, 2005 at 10 a.m. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society or McCormick Home Outreach Program would be appreciated. At Parkwood Hospital, on Friday, February 25th, 2005, Mr. Chester M. SMITH of London in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Elaine (WALTERS) SMITH. Loving father of Doug (Sandy,) Sharon (Doug) O'LOUGHLIN, Alana (Chris) STANNARD, Stephen (Linda) RATH, and Pam (Ian) PARKER. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister. Predeceased by his brother Vince. The funeral and committal services will be conducted at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, (2 blocks north of Oxford), on Monday, February 28th, 2005 at 3: 00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation and private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Chester are asked to consider the Parkwood Palliative Care or the London Health Sciences Foundation - Cancer Centre.
