Peacefully in Montreal on Wednesday May 11, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Zoltan. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Eva KLEIN and Professor Leonard WAVERMAN, Dr. Tom and Cathy GAYDOS. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Emma and Ernest DUBY, the late Rose and the late Max LESTER, the late Lily and the late Jack GOLTZMAN, the late Leon and the late Edith ROTH, the late Lilka and the late Max NAPARSTEK, the late Pearl and the late Carol SCHENK. Sister-in-law of Emery and the late Yanka GAJDOS. Cherished grandmother of Laura, and Jordan KLEIN, Maya, and Dana GAYDOS. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and Friends. Passed away at Grey Gables, Markdale, Monday May 9 2005, Rev. Dr. C. Glenn LUCAS of Markdale in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis NAPIER. Loving father of Shaun (Tara) of Berkeley. Dear brother of Rhea ALDERSON of Toronto and Sheila MURRAY (Robert) of Ottawa. Grandfather of Jessie, Brittney and Cheyanne. Predeceased by parents Robert and Jessie LUCAS and brother Graham. The family received Friends at the May Funeral Home, Markdale on Wednesday afternoon and evening. A Funeral service was held at Annesley United Church, Markdale, Thursday May 12, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. Rev Judith SPRINGETT officiated at the service, Reverend Dr. Bob GUILIANO gave the sermon and Reverend Robert BUCHANAN provided words of remembrance. David FRIES, Organist and Choir Director of Annesley United Church and the members of the combined choirs of Christ Church Anglican and Annesley United Church led the congregation in the hymns "Rejoice The Lord is King "The Lord Is My Shepherd" and "O God Our Help in Ages Past". Phillip ALDERSON, Andrew MURRAY, Peter CADE, George EMERY, Peter LUCAS, and David EVAN served as pall bearers. Reverend Anne MILLS recited a poem at the committal service held in Markdale Cemetery. Friends and relatives joined Phyllis and her family at a luncheon served by the Annesley United Church Women in the Annesley United Church Fellowship Hall. Memorial donations were directed to the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation Building Fund.

Peacefully at the age of 75, on May 9, 2005 at Markdale, Ontario, after a long illness. Beloved husband of Phyllis (NAPIER.) Dear father of Shawn (Tara) and loving grandfather of Jessie, Brittany and Sheanne. son of the late Jessie (IRELAND) and the late Robert LUCAS. Dear brother to Rhea ALDERSON (late Earl,) Sheila (Robert) MURRAY, and the late Graham (late June.) Fondly remembered by eight nieces and nephews, nine grandnephews and grandnieces, many other relatives and Friends. On his retirement as Archivist of the United Church of Canada, Glenn initiated a Lucas Family history project which will continue as a memorial to him. Funeral service was held on May 12 in the United Church in Markdale. Memorial Service will be held at Westway United Church, 8 Templar Drive, Toronto (Etobicoke), on Saturday, June 11, at 4: 00 p.m. In memory of Glenn, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

Julyan was the beloved wife of the late Cawthra MULOCK, mother of Richard, Julian (Andrea), Mark (Miranda), and Nigel, and grandmother of Jonathan and Geoffrey. Gordon, beloved husband of 57 years to Heather (née HAMILTON.) Loving father of Linda NAPIER (Ted); Mark; Gary (Jennifer). Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by Jim BUNTING (Deborah;) Sarah WILSON (Troy;) Leigh-Anne McKENZIE; Michael McKENZIE (Shannon;) and great granddad of McKenna BLUCHER- BUNTING. Dear brother of Maxine NISBET (Aurora,) Craig McKENZIE (Vancouver) and predeceased by Margaret, Harvey, Dorothy WILLSIE, and Pauline. As well as raising a very caring family, one of the proudest achievements in Gord's life was the creation of the McKenzie Marsh on Saint John's Road East. This was his retirement project, a legacy that will be enjoyed by the community for generations. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Southlake Hospital, 6th floor cancer clinic. Luke Tobias Lushington GREENBLATT, 15, of Borden Street, Toronto, drowned Wednesday, August 10, 2005, near Matagami, Quebec. Luke was the cherished son of Kate LUSHINGTON and Richard GREENBLATT, adored brother of Natasha Grace and William Pavel, beloved nephew of Lewis FUREY, Carole Laure and Mark LUSHINGTON, dear cousin of Clara, Tomas and Jake, loving grand_son to Stephen LUSHINGTON, Sonia LUSHINGTON (deceased,) John and Selma GREENBLATT (deceased,) a delight to his godparents Dorian CLARK, Nicky GUADAGNI, Joyce MASON, Monique MOJICA, Colin NAPTHINE and Djanet SEARS, and an admired and treasured friend to many extraordinary young people. Luke loved music, especially jamming with his brother and Friends. He played piano and clarinet with heart and soul, as well as alto and soprano sax and guitar. He was a drummer in the rock band Abbott. Luke was entering Grade 10 at Oakwood Collegiate. He played forward for the Parkdale Flames and Amesbury Avalanche hockey teams, pitched for the Tigers at Christie Pits and enjoyed soccer, skateboarding, boxing, chess and his dog Bella. Luke felt a deep affinity to Buddhism and philosophy and was Bar Mitzvahed on May 22, 2004 at the Beaches Hebrew Institute. Luke was a steady shining presence in our lives, his tragic accident is a wrenching loss to an entire community.
