Born November 4, 1925 in Zwardon, Poland, passed away after a brief illness in Nanaimo, British Columbia on March 4, 2005. Zbigniew (Steve) will be lovingly missed by his wife Genevieve son Richard, brother Lutek, sisters Irene and Maria, sister-in-law Frances Lada, granddaughter Kimberly, great-granddaughters, nephews and nieces. Services at Church of the Ascension, Parksville, British Columbia., March 9, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. At Watford Quality Care Centre on Monday, November 21, 2005, S. Hector McNEIL of R.R.#7 Alvinston in his 85th year. Predeceased by his wife, Florence Beatrice (McLEAN) (1985) and his four sons, Ian, Barry, Leonard and infant son Robert. Survived by his daughters-in-law, Carolyn McNEIL- JUDAS and Margaret Anne McNEIL, and 2 granddaughters, Kathi McNEIL and Barbara McNEIL. Also survived by his sister, Lois TAILOR/TAYLOR and several nieces and nephews. Hector was a well respected Auctioneer in the area for nearly 40 years. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, November, 24 at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Jo-Anne SYMINGTON officiating. JUDD, Montford Leatham (né Frederick Montford LEATHAM)
Died at Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, November 24, 2005. Born Frederick Montford LEATHAM in Ingersoll on April 16, 1913. Adopted at an early age by Henry and Catherine JUDD. His wife of 45 years, Ruth (MARTIN) JUDD, (R.N.) died in 1988. He is survived by daughter Janice SORRIE (Bill) of Peterborough and son Evan of London. Granddaughter Jessica SORRIE had a wonderful relationship with her Papa. Lee will be missed by his companion and longtime friend Greta SKINNER and her family. Birth sister Ruth CULLIMORE lives in Victoria, British Columbia. As an adult Lee became acquainted with his cousins in the Leatham family and appreciated being included in family events including a trip to Ireland in 1991. During years spent in Chatham and Ingersoll Lee was very active in his community and he had wonderful Friends and neighbours. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll Sunday 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2005 at 1: 30 p.m. Rev. Peacefully at Marian Villa in London, surrounded by Friends and family on Wednesday, April 20th, 2005. Winton B. JUDGE was in his 94th year. Survived by his loving wife Helen M. JUDGE. Dear father of Ian, Ken, Eric and Gary. Lovingly remembered by his sons, their families and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Winton worked many years for the London Fire Department and reached the level of captain. He saved many lives along the way while part of the rescue unit. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We are holding a memorial to celebrate his life on May 14, 2005 from 1 to 4 in the afternoon. The memorial will be held at 115 Pine Valley Drive in London. Passed away peacefully at Saint Mary's Hospital in Sechelt, British Colombia on Friday, October 7. Formerly of London, Bob and his beloved wife, Lee Min, had been living, most recently, in Gibsons, British Columbia. He was 62. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Constance SHADBOLT, his sister, Eileen JUDGE, and brother, Ron SHADBOLT, Bob is survived by his sister Connie OAKLEY, his sons Steven and Jeffrey, his wife, Lee Min, and her children and grandchildren. Bob was a wonderful husband, stepfather, and grandfather who brought much happiness into the lives of his "new" family who will miss him greatly. Bob was loved and respected by many Friends and colleagues in London and in Vancouver, Victoria, and Gibsons where he has lived and worked for the past number of years. A private cremation will take place in Gibsons. JUDGE, Brian Albert
It is with great sorrow that the family of Brian JUDGE announces his sudden death in his 54th year on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Credit Valley Hospital. He leaves behind his beloved daughter Aurora, father Gordon (Pat), brother Dave (Deb), sister Peg (Fred), nieces and nephews; Becky (Jamie), Chris, Colin, Dan, Ryan, Katie and Ian, and many Friends. Predeceased by his mother Margaret and brother Tim. Brian was an avid outdoorsman, intellectual and righteous man. He was a member of the Toronto Caving Club, stagehand for Saint Annes Gilbert and Sullivan Society and loved to fly, in actuality and on his flight simulator. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian's life will be announced at a later date. Passed away peacefully, in the Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, on January 19, 2005. Loving wife of William (Bill) KNIGHT, devoted mother of James, Robert and Jo-Anne (JUDGE,) sadly missed by their spouses Elizabeth, Eileen and John; and grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, April, Angela, Patrick, and Joseph; sister Helen (CRUMBACK) brother Albert and their spouses George and Audrey and predeceased by her parents Edwin (1963) and Gladys (2000). Doris attended Humberside Collegiate and graduated in 1940. As a young woman, Doris was a respected member of the office staff at Grinnell Company in Toronto. Later, she held a position at Butler Metal Company in Preston. Her generous spirit and caring nature were woven through her relationships with Friends and family and her volunteer service. She will be missed by all who knew her. Doris' family will receive family and Friends at a celebration of her life on Saturday, February 19th at 1: 00 p.m. in Corbett Funeral Home Chapel, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Erica NAISH and Kevin JUDGE, Robert NAISH, Todd and Teresa WAWRYK, Trevor and Tammy WAWRYK, and Julie and Kelvin WARKENTIN. Devoted great-grandfather of Hannah JUDGE, Emily, Alyson and Matthew WAWRYK, and Rogan WAWRYK. Beloved step-father to Jack SIMPSON, Janice SIMPSON, Theresa SIMPSON and Mark Gallow. Cherished grandfather of Jaime, Shea, Aaron SIMPSON, Kate, William and Jack SIMPSON- GALLOW. Beloved brother of Eileen LIVINGSTONE, uncle of Patty and Spiro GIANNOUKOS and their son John. Will be missed by Dorothy GODFREY, Doug MORRISON, and all of his nieces and nephews. Bob served overseas in World War 2 with the Royal Canadian Artillery and the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. He was a Toronto Firefighter for 32 years and retired as a Captain in 1978. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 133, Cobourg. Russell William SMITH, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, July 4, 2005 in his 90th year. Russ had worked for Norm Power's Cleaners, Wallaceburg Brass and was a veteran of World War 2. son of the late Laura (MORRISON) and Earl SMITH. Beloved husband of 58 years to Ila (JUDSON) SMITH. Loving father of Roger and Marilyn SMITH of Stratford and Susan and Remi DEBOT of Wallaceburg. Dear grandfather of Chris and Jennifer DEBOT, Jodi and Bob GORMLEY all of Wallaceburg. Great grandfather of Chelsea and Connor DEBOT. Brother of Gordon and Ruby of Chatham and the late Rena GONYOU of Saint Thomas. The family will receive relatives and Friends at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Reverend Linda MAW will conduct the funeral service on Wednesday, July 6th, in the chapel at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Patricia " Pat" L. TINNING, a resident of Eaton Rapids, Michigan and former resident of Wallaceburg, Ontario, on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at the age of 51. Pat was the production manager of Meridian Magnesium Products of America in Lansing, Michigan and former employee of Accurcast Die Casting in Wallaceburg. Pat is the daughter of Donald and Dorothy (JUDSON) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON. Beloved wife of Thomas. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Dawn BOWEN and Michael BURM and Michael and Katherine TINNING of Wallaceburg. Dear grandmother of Katelyn BOWEN, Brandy MOHR, Rylan BURM, Scott BURM and Keagan TINNING. Survived by her son Paul and his wife Julianne, daughter Gail and her husband Dr. Charles SHAMESS, grandchildren Jeffrey and Daniel ROBINSON, Kristen and David SHAMESS and several nieces and nephews.
