Suddenly at home on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005 in his 74th year. Bob, beloved husband of the late Audrey and dear father of Glenn and his wife Shirley, Scott and his wife Doreen and Beth and her husband Grant JELEC. Loving son of Marjorie and the late Jack. Cherished grandfather of Travis, Aurora, Taylor, Brooke, Brett, Scott and Shannon. Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Monday August 8th from 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel Tuesday, August 9th at 1 p.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be preferred by the family.

Unexpectably, and with much sadness, the family announces the passing of George Francis PARISH on Monday, December 19, 2005 at St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 81 years. Loving brother of Margaret (Daisy) JELINEK of Beamsville, Elizabeth (Milan) VITEK of Toronto, Charles (Bertha) PARISH of Dundas and John PARISH of the Czech Republic. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Visitation at Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Vigil 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations in memory of George to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at the Country Care Seniors Residence in Allenford on November 4th in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill CORTAN and the late Hermann HAGEMEIER. Dear mother of Hans HAGEMEIER and his wife Mary of Tara, John CORTAN and his wife Alison of Ripley, Reiner CORTAN and his wife Genet of Winnipeg and Margaret JELINSKI and her husband Eric of Bowmanville. Dear Grandmother to Brian, Linda, Christopher, Jennifer, Laurie and Justin. Great Oma to Zyphlen, Aiden, Ethan, Damien, Jeremy and Dalton. Also survived by Special friend Marlene DONALDSON and her nephews and nieces in Germany and Switzerland.
