HARNETT, Grace Evelyn
Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Thursday, December 15th, 2005. Grace Evelyn HARNETT (JARDINE) in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Glenn HARNETT (1973.) Dear mother of Richard and Valerie HARNETT of Hagersville and Charles and Cheryl HARNETT of Strathroy. Loving grandmother of Jason, Christopher, Andrew, Kirk, Kelley and Justin. Predeceased by a daughter Joy HARNETT (1960.) Grace was predeceased by sisters Alverna WATSON, Edith Lockwood, Jean BURNS, Greta HYMAN and Beryl BAILEY. Also predeceased by brothers Edward and Slater JARDINE. Private Funeral Service was held on Sunday, December 18th, 2005 at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Brian McKENZIE officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Grace.

PEARLMAN, Paul (December 3, 1925-May 17, 2005)
On May 17, 2005 Paul Pearlman passed away at the age of 79 in Edmonton, Alberta. Paul, son of Sam and Gertrude PEARLMAN was born in Regina, youngest of 6 children. Paul lived most of his life in Regina. He took over the family business Pearlman's Ladies Wear upon his father's death in 1953 and with progressive vision he grew it into a regional chain. Pearlman's Ladies Wear became a household name in Saskatchewan. He was a leader in the business community including the Regina Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown and Shopping Centres Merchant's Associations. Paul was very dedicated to his Regina Jewish community, serving as board member for 25 years and president. Paul was married in 1951 to Anita JAMPOLSKY of Regina. They had three children and 5 grandchildren and were happily married for 53 years. In 1997 upon retirement Paul and Anita moved to Edmonton. As snowbirds they spent their winters in Palm Springs, California where they enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with their Friends and family. He will forever be remembered and sadly missed by his wife Anita, daughter Connie (Danny) ZALMANOWITZ, grandchildren Jana and Laurence of Edmonton, sons Sam (Myra) PEARLMAN, granddaughter Laura of Vancouver, and Michael (Kate) PEARLMAN, grandchildren Lilyanna and Jack of Toronto, sister Etta (Harold) HYMAN and brother-in-law Ted JAMES. Peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on May 11, 2005 in her 99th year. Isabella, beloved wife of the late George Arthur HILTON. Loving mother of Jack and his wife Joyce, William and his wife Doris, Richard and his wife Betty, and the late Doreen HYMAN. She will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Dear sister to Jen EASON and predeceased by sisters Agnes McHUGH and Nancy HENDERSON and a brother William CROOKS. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many Friends at the Church of the Epiphany where she worshipped since 1946. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Epiphany, 700 Kennedy Road. Cremation to follow. Loving grandfather of Theresa YEAMAN of Woodstock, and Bill YEAMAN of Cambridge, Taylor ARMSTRONG and Griffin DAUB. Brother of Beverley NASI (Bill) of Perth, Margaret GAUS (Ron) of Kitchener and Diane HYMERS (Gord) of Listowel. Much loved son-in-law of Zita Marie SEARS of Tillsonburg.
