Peacefully, on Monday, January 10, 2005, Mrs. June BUSHILL passed away at Marion Villa Nursing Home in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Jim BUSHELL (1988.) A graveside service will be held at Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery, Saint Thomas on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m. Reverend Sheldon DYCK officiating. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in June's memory. DAMUDE, Ethawyn Elmira
Ethawyn Elmira DAMUDE, peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home, London, on February 26, 2005, in her 89th year. She was born in Pelham Township. Ethawyn taught elementary school for several years at Chesley, St. George's and Ryerson schools in London, Ontario and was a long-standing member of First Baptist Church, London. Only daughter of the late Myles Edwy DAMUDE and the late Etha May (CUNNINGHAM) DAMUDE of Pelham and Beamsville, Ontario. Ethawyn will be missed by dear Friends Constance BROWN, Toronto and Dorothy A. CHISHOLM, London. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Extendicare for their kind nursing care during Ethawyn's stay. Former pupils and Friends are warmly welcomed at a service to be conducted on Sunday, March 6 at 3: 00 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond, by Rev. At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Saturday, April 16th, 2005, Margaret Carson "Margie" (MacKENZIE) SCOPES of London in her 83rd year. She was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick on January 7, 1923 to the late Arthur MacKENZIE and the late Anna (MacBEATH) MacKENZIE. She was predeceased by her husband George and her five sisters Muriel LEBANS, Jean GILLIS, Anne KELLER, Lois PRICE, Helen JARDINE and her 1 brother Robert MacKENZIE. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She attended First Baptist Church, London. She had been a child care supervisor with the Children's Aid Society and a loyal member of Y's Menettes Service Club of the Young Men's-Young Women's Christian Association. Cremation has taken place, with interment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, London. A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, 568 Richmond Street (at Clarence Street), London, on Wednesday April 20th at 1 p.m. with Reverend Sheldon W. DYCK officiating. Born in Boxmeer, The Netherlands on September 30, 1909, the daughter of the late Antoon and Marie DEBRUIN) HUTTEN. She came to Canada in 1963 and was a member of Our Lady Of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church. Beloved wife of the late Mathias VAN DYCK (1969.) Dear mother of Hans VAN DYCK of Holland, Gerard VAN DYCK and his wife Bonnie of London, Thea and her husband Martin VERKAART of Aylmer, Willy and her husband Cor MEURS of Aylmer and the late John VAN DYCK. Loved by her grandchildren Wendy, Rob, Marlene, Ruud, Dave, Barb, Monique and Dave. Fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Of Port Stanley, on Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at the London Health Sciences Centre-Westminster Campus, surrounded by her loving family in her 34th year. Dearly loved wife of John SWAIN and loved mother of Kassidy Ann and Landon Jonathan SWAIN. Loved daughter of Issak GIESBRECHT of Lyons and the late Anna FEHR) GIESBRECHT. Dear sister of Issak and his wife Nettie GIESBRECHT of Richmond, Mary and her husband Neil KLASSEN of Aylmer, Frank and his wife Linda GIESBRECHT of Vienna, Lena and her husband Jake LOEWEN of Aylmer, Peter GIESBRECHT, at home and sister-in-law of Peter DYCK of Straffordville. Dear daughter-in-law of Carol RASTIN of Aylmer. Predeceased by 4 brothers Abe, Nick, Nick, Jake and by 2 sisters Trudy and Angie. Sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins, a number of other family members and many Friends.
Annie was born in Paraguay on January 12, 1972. She was a machinist and ran the Rail City Indoor Skate Park. She was an avid gardener and blood donor and was on the bone marrow registry. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, with remembrances to an education trust fund for Kassidy and Landon. Peacefully at his residence, Marian Villa, on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, John SAMWAYS in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Lorna, née TROTT (1995.) He is survived by his sons Clarke and Brian and daughters-in-law Donna and Gail. John was the proud grandfather of Steve (Patti) SAMWAYS and Scott (Marilyn) SAMWAYS and great-grandfather of Dylan and Jennifer. Predeceased by his brothers Herb and Eric. The family would like to thank Dr. G. PERSAUD and the staff of Marian Villa for the wonderful care John was accorded. We are very grateful to the 5th floor staff for making John feel special over the last two years. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the James A.
