After a valiant struggle at Sunnybrook Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, John peacefully joined his wife Anna (née WILCZYNSKI) on his continued journey of life. He was a beloved father to Wanda KORKUS, Christina CICCARELLI and her husband Lou, and a wonderful grandfather to Annalisa, Francesca, Anthony and Louie. Special thanks to the staff of Sunnybrook Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for their compassion and great care. Family and Friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (just west of Warden) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place at Annunciation Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 24, 2005.

Born Rosina MANCUSO to the late Gianbattista MANCUSO and Angeolina FEDERICA in Toronto on March 16th, 1921. Rose is survived by her son Valentino RUFFO of Milton, Ontario. and her daughters-in-law Patricia RUFFO and Beverly MacLAREN, her granddaughter Joanna RUFFO (Etobicoke,) her stepdaughter Maureen YOUNG (David) of Etobicoke, her stepsons John O'LEARY of Toronto, and Councilman Michael O'LEARY (Mary) of Acton, Ontario.; her siblings Evelyn BARAN (Michael) of Unionville, Val MANCUSO (Pat) of North York and Sam MANCUSO of Hanover, Ontario, sisters-in-law Vera and Evelyn.
