J. Wayne CRANSTON, Port Elgin, Ontario, May 29 1944-May 5 2001.
Formerly of Sheguiandah, Ontario. Beloved son of Ray (deceased) and Norine CRANSTON of Markham, Ontario.
Beloved brother of Jean and husband Blaine BOSWELL of Pittsburgh, and Beverly and husband David HILL of Stouffville, brother-in-law of Marilyn and husband Mike PALMER of Tiverton, Karen and husband Todd KENNEDY of McGregor. Dear uncle to Scott and Sheryl, Leslie and Karen, Warren, Daisy and Brittany. Predeceased by brother Merlyn, mother-in-law Edna DUCK and his faithful friend Tasha.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, conducted by Reverend Margaret Greenhow. Place of burial: Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Darren PALMER, Dieter SZLAPA, Dave HILL, Gary GREEN, Dave MARSHALL and Blaine BOSWELL. Honorary pallbearers were Scott OTTEWELL, Geo. ZIMMERMAN, Mike PALMER and Dietrich BUCHWALD.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to W. Kent Milroy Funeral Home, Port Elgin Chapel.

Frederick Arthur ZIMMERMAN
In Loving Memory of Frederick Arthur ZIMMERMAN, who passed away at the Mindemoya Hospital on Friday, August 17, 2001 at the age of 63.
Remembered by ex-wife Marilyn. Loved father of Kerry (predeceased), Mark of Dryden, Derek of B.C., Dear son of Arnold and Jean ZIMMERMAN (predeceased.) Brother to Richard ZIMMERMAN of Sudbury, Sister-in-law Judy of Sudbury, A.J. and Francis ZIMMERMAN of Timmins. Uncle to June of Kirkland Lake, Tracy of Sudbury and Sarah of Ottawa. Will be missed by grandchildren Jarret and Tyler. Art was a well respected game warden on Manitoulin Island. He was with the Ministry of Natural Resources for 38 years. He loved to fish and hunt. He held a wilderness survival training course which taught others his love of nature's gifts to mankind.
Memorial service was on Monday, August 20, 2001, 2-4 p.m. at the Island Funeral Home, Cremation and burial in Mountainview Cemetery.

POLLOCK, Kenneth 'Ken' William
In loving memory of Kenneth 'Ken' William POLLOCK 75 years, who passed away Wednesday evening, January 3rd, 2001 at the Extendicare Falconbridge. Born in Sudbury, where he married in 1973 to Margaret his best friend and soul mate. He worked in the Maintenance Department at Inco for 40 years retiring in 1982. He served overseas with the Canadian Army during World War II. Ken was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76, Sudbury, a member of Friendship Lodge #691 AF and AM and Chapter Rose Croix Valley of Sault Ste. Marie. Beloved husband of the late Lenore {ZINN} POLLOCK (predeceased 1970) and Margaret Emily {MacDONALD} POLLOCK of Garson. Loving father of Penelope 'Penny' of Pembroke, Thomas (wife Jane) of Barrie, Glenn (Nancy) of Terrace, B.C., and Timothy (wife April) of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear grandfather of Shelby, Emily, Jeffrey and Katrina. Dear son of the late Alexander and Ellen POLLOCK both predeceased. Dear brother of Gerald of Sudbury, Doris BARRY of Bolton and the late Jack, Margaret KELLY, Sandy, Ruby HARKNESS, Vivian McADAM, Mary MAGILL, Donald and Kathleen BISCHOFF all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the MacDONALD family. Resting at the Jackson and barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Friday, January 5th, 2001 at 3 pm. Interment in the Civic Cemetery.

Della Grace SMELTZER born at Tehkummah, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, August 19, 1912, passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital, July 10, 2001.
Predeceased by her brother Edward SMELTZER, half-sister Marion READMAN and nephew Edward SMELTZER Jr. Lovingly remembered by her sister Lillian SMELTZER, Jamel CHAPMAN, brother-in-law Harvey READMAN, nieces Dana (Edward) ZINSER, Ann Marie (Reuben) NEUMAN and Deborah (Kenneth) WATKIS, and great-nephews Bradley and Gregory ZINSER and great-niece Emily (James) Owens. Special thanks to Dr. Daniel Buie and to the nursing staff of the Eric Martin Pavilion for their exceptional care and kindness. Interment at Royal Oak Burial Park with a private graveside service. Arrangements entrusted to Sands Funeral Chapel, Victoria, British Columbia.
