    Joseph, Elizabeth, Thomas, Peter, Myndert Junior, Margaret, Sarah, Catherine and Rebecca
    (ages 2 through 22). They had been evacuated from New York in 1783 on “The Brothers”
    and spent 10 years in Digby, Nova Scotia before leaving with the Lawrence JOHNSON
    family for Upper Canada.
