FRANCIS, Peggy (MacTAGGART)
April 20, 1984, in memory of our beloved daughter, sister and aunt.
The grief of her loss
Cannot outweigh the joy of her life
Our memories take us back
To the times we thought
We'd never visit again
She made us laugh
She made us smile
She warmed our hearts
And enriched our lives
We will forever remember when.
- Loved and remembered always by Dad and Mom, Pete and Stacey, Kim, Jack, Jackson and Colin.

McTAGGART, Ruth
A Loving Memoir of my mother, Ruth, who passed April 8, 1998. Beautiful, loving and kind. She wore many coats. The words mature, responsible, worker, sacrifice, determined, define you. Forget her not, for her love was true and will always be a part of you. Being a mother is a gift that you embraced. A smile that would light up a room. Remember how we used to laugh together. I cherish the time we had and all that we shared. 10 years may have passed but your memory will forever last. A tribute. High regard and respect brought you honour, Your helpful considerate and favourable qualities gave you grace. The center piece of our family. Strong principles of right and wrong displayed moral goodness. Faithful in love or in any obligation made you loyal. Your home was your castle and a symbol of pride. The style in which you lived was honest. Your husband first and foremost, 3 children a life complete. This was your wish, this was your way, an inspiration to us all. Lovingly remembered by your daugther Janice and in our hearts always.

Born in 1917, Barry died peacefully April 21, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife Jean McKENZIE (1993,) son Barry (1983) and granddaughter Alex (2003). His life was lived to the fullest, with zest, enthusiasm, love of travel, passion for the outdoors, and generosity to many. His motto 'Carpe Diem' reflected the spirit of his life. He will be deeply missed by many: his sister Mary ALLEN and her family, his daughter Anne McTAGGART and son-in-law Gault, his daughter Katherine GRAHAM, his daughter Lesley GRAHAM and her partner Oz, his three grandchildren Keith and Seanna McTAGGART and Christine GRAHAM, two great-grand_sons Kieran and Samir and his dearly loved companion Wendy ECKEL and her family. Barry loved flying his own airplane for 25 years enabling him to commute from Montreal to his summer home in Muskoka. He flew to Baja, California, Key West, Florida and four times to the Beaufort Sea in Canada's western Arctic. Barry was a keen sailor since receiving his first boat, a fourteen foot Aykroyd dinghy, in 1930. For the last 33 years he sailed with joy his Tornado class catamaran. Following his graduation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1939, with the exception of his Navy service, Barry worked for the Aluminum Company of Canada in Montreal, retiring as General Traffic Manager in 1971. In his Navy service Barry was engineer of five different Canadian naval vessels serving on the North Atlantic during World War 2. A memorial service celebrating Barry's life will be held at Rosedale United Church, 159 Roxborough Drive, Tuesday, April 29 at 2 p.m. The family gives special thanks to the caring staff at Leaside Retirement Residence. McTAGUE, Elizabeth
April 25, 2007 If roses grow in Heaven, Lord, pick the nicest one you see, Place it in my mother's hand, And tell her it's from me. Tell her that I love her, And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek, And hold her for a while. Remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there's an ache within my heart, That will never go away. No farewell words were spoken, No chance to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why. You are always in my thoughts and I miss you everyday Mom, Love Phyllis
