At Parkwood Hospital, London on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 Brenda Elaine O'NEIL of Lucan in her 50th year. Beloved daughter of Evelyn (McROBERTS) O'NEIL of Lucan and the late Roy O'NEIL (1974.) Dear mother of Kaitlin, Josh and Kyle Ryan all at home. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Marilee and Don CAMPBELL of Strathroy, David and Mary O'NEIL of Duluth, Georgia, Gary O'NEIL of Denfield and Joan and Jim CARSON of Oakville. Predeceased by a brother Wayne. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan, on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 1 p.m. with Rev. At Belvedere Heights, Parry Sound on Wednesday April 23, 2008. Peter Orwell HONSINGER of McKellar in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (ARTHUR) HONSINGER. Dear father of Charles HONSINGER and wife Jeannie of Saint Thomas, Brian HONSINGER and wife Cathy of Aylmer, Lynn BURWELL and husband Kevin of Aylmer and Pearl McROBERTS of Parry Sound. Loved by his grandchildren. Brother of Ben HONSINGER and his wife Lea of Aylmer, Theresa NUNN of Saint Thomas and Ada PAUPST of Aylmer. Predeceased by brothers, Homer, Norman and Joe HONSINGER. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Saint Thomas, Ontario on December 19, 1933 son of the late Norman and Ruby (CARTER) HONSINGER. Pete had worked for Truman Motors, and UAP in London and Aylmer. He retired in 1987 and moved to Parry Sound. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer 12: 30-3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008 followed by the funeral service at 3: 00 p.m. The Rev. Michael WELLWOOD, Padre to Branch #81, Royal Canadian Legion, Aylmer will officiate. Cremation to follow and burial of ashes in Springfield Cemetery at a later date. SLATER, Anne Marie Madeleine (née DUBOIS)
(June 3, 1912-January 13, 2008)
At the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Art, brother Eddie, sisters Marguerite, Jacqueline, Betty and nephew Eric. Anne Marie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Peggy, Dick, and Kitty (Stan McROBERTS,) granddaughters Christy and Emilie McROBERTS. A dear aunt to Phyl SOMERSET, Barb LEBEAU, Judi JEWINSKI and Ted MITCHELL. Great-aunt to Elizabeth and Jenny SOMERSET, Nicole HUNT, Danielle JEWINSKI, Jeff and Philip MITCHELL. Fondly remembered by cousins Gérard DUBOIS (Pat) of Washington and Jacques DUBOIS (Andrée) of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and their children. At Anne Marie's request there will be a private family service. Donations in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

SPROULE, Flora Vivian (née McROBERTS)
In loving memory of Flora Vivian (McROBERTS) SPROULE who passed away at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, on Sunday, April 27, 2008 in her 98th year. Flora, daughter of Gertrude (BRUCE) and Herbert McROBERTS, beloved wife of Harold SPROULE, loving mother of Catherine and son-in-law Elliott BEHARRELL, loving grandmother of Oonagh, Aaron and his wife Laura, and thrilled great-grandmother of Alexander.
Flora was born August 27, 1910 at Tyrone, Ontario, and graduated from Tyrone Public School, Oshawa Collegiate, Toronto Normal School, and The University of Toronto. Before her marriage in 1944, she taught at Maxwell, Cederdale, and Albert Street Schools in Oshawa. She was involved in The Victorian Order of Nurses, Third Oshawa Brownies and Guides, University Women's Club (charter member), and St Andrew's United Church. Travelling, reading, cottage life, gardening, playing bridge and piano brought Flora great delight, but the greatest joy came from close Friends and her beloved family- her grandmothers, parents, aunts, uncles, thirty-nine first cousins, brothers Bruce and Stewart, and their families: Mary McROBERTS, Pam McROBERTS and Neil, Alanna and Brynn OSTVIK, Bob and Susanne, Corey, and Patrick McROBERTS, Donald, Christine, and Mark McROBERTS, Cecil SPROULE, Jim and Marylyn SPROULE, John and Wiebke, Haldon, Dana, and Kelsey SPROULE, Debi SPROULE and George, Taryn, and Breanne SCOTT, Dorcas FULTON and Donald, Nick and Tony MORRISH.
Great thanks to Sheryl WINACOTT, Jan MADSEN, and the teams at Hillsdale Estates for their compassionate care, conversation and laughter. Thanks to Flora's dear neighbours on Primrose Path and to their families for their cheer. You all made a caring community for Flora and her family.
A celebration of Flora's life will be included in a memorial service in the Worship Centre of Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. Interment has taken place.

MacINTYRE, Katherine Palm
Born 1914 in Toronto, passed away suddenly June 23, 2008 at the Montreal General Hospital. Kay attended Bishop Strachan School and the University of Toronto, earning a B.A. from U.C. in 1934. She was a keen competitor at the Badminton and Racquet Club and an avid golfer at Rosedale (Toronto) and Royal Montreal Golf Club. A faithful volunteer for many organizations - the Junior League and the Sick Kids (Toronto), the Montreal Diet Dispensary (one of its presidents) and United Appeal. Member (President, 1982) of the Diggers and Weeders Garden Club and an enthusiastic bridge player for many years. Predeceased by her dear brother, William H. PALM and her beloved husband, Kenneth W. MacINTYRE.
Kay was a devoted mother to: Joan MacINTYRE, Cynthia McMAHON (Frank,) Scott OWENS (Jane,) Gail McROBIE (Fred) and Pat OWENS grandmother to Frank and Mary Katherine McMAHON; David, Jonathan and Hayley OWENS; Ian, Jordan, Kelly and Donald McROBIE; Heidi KEELEY (Brian) and Peter DE SCHULTHESS (Alexia) as well as great-grandmother to: Mitchell and Brianna KEELEY and Thomas DE SCHULTHESS. We will deeply miss Mum's steadfast support, love of life and dauntless spirit.
We are very appreciative for the loving care Mum received from the staff at the Griffith Residence and for the sensitive help given at the Montreal General Hospital. A memorial service will be held in Montreal at a later date, followed by interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.

Passed away peacefully on July 8, 2008, beloved husband of Cynthia (née DIAMOND,) loving father of Seana (Kelly) ALMER and Gavin, stepfather of Sean (Sandy) and Valerie, and proud Grampa to Logan and Eva. Dearest son of John and Joan McCRODAN and son-in-law of Dawn WEST, much loved brother of Cathy (Dan) ATKINSON, David (Carole) McCRODAN, Peter McCRODAN, Jamie (Patty) McCRODAN, and Andrew (Judy) McCRODAN, and brother-in-law of Debbie (Ken) CLARKE. Chris will also be greatly missed by his cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and many good Friends. Chris will be remembered for his generosity and concern for others, which brought him and Cynthia together, his warm sense of humour and mischievous nature. The family will receive Friends Friday, July 11th at York Cemetery and Visitation Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York (1 block west of Yonge Street, north of Sheppard), 416-221-3404.
