McCOY, Garland Ralph (January 15, 1938-May 16, 2008)
Passed peacefully into his Lords presence on May 16, 2008 at Scarborough Grace Hospital. Beloved husband of over 45 years to Lulubelle (Belle) (nee) MATTHEWS. Loving father of Heather and Ian GORBELL and Stephen and Nathalie (née SIN- SARA.) Cherished grandpa of Corey, Cole, Amber and Chloe. Dear brother of the late Marjorie and (Earl) BOWEN and Marion and the late (Doug) MORTON. Devoted son of the late John Gilbert and Margaret McCOY. Garland will be greatly missed by his sisters and brothers-in-law and by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m. at Willowdale Presbyterian Church (38 Ellerslie Ave, North York). Interment Mount Nebo Cemetery, (Spring Brook, Ontario), Thursday May 22, 2008 at 11: 30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Scott Mission or Sanfilippo Children's Research Foundation. HENDERSON, Gordon John
Peacefully at University Hospital, Gordon John HENDERSON in his 84th year on Thursday, June 19, 2008. Beloved husband of Lois and partner of Belle, both predeceased. Loving father of Roger (Roberta) HENDERSON, Cindy (Jim MURPHY) and Knola HENDERSON (predeceased). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Katie (Dave HOOPER) and Kelly, Rick (Melanie) MURPHY and Lisa MURPHY; and great-grandchildren Fiona and Hayleigh HOOPER. Special step-father to Roger (Darlene) McCOY and Larry (Cathy) McCOY; and step-grandfather to Brandon and Lindsay McCOY. Gordon worked for the C.N. Railway for over 50 years and was a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. Special thanks to Mary for being a good friend and Doctor FARQUHAR and the nurses of 6th floor. Family and Friends will be received at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (east Highbury) on Sunday, June 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Monday, June 23 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. LOCKWOOD, Buddy Buddah
Suddenly in Warrington Road June 25, 2008. Buddy beloved companion of Karen and Jon. Buddy is predeceased by brother Chimo and sister Caley. Buddy leaves his sisters Meisha and Millie, and brothers Thal, Max and Caleb. Buddy was laid to rest beside his brother Chimo at home. Memorial donations to the Humane Society of your choice would be appreciated by Buddy's family. Special thanks to Doctor Pat KLYMUS her gentle assistants and Mr. Ryan VERSTEGEN who provided loving care until we could get there. And to Mr. McCOY and Carol Day RICE for notifying us. BUTLER, Charles Whittier
In Belleville on June 21, 2008, Charles BUTLER died peacefully in his 95th year. He was the devoted husband for forty-eight years of the late Rosamund McCOY and father of Ian of Carey, North Carolina and Michael (Patricia) of Toronto. Predeceased by his dear wife May Trueman BUTLER of Belleville. He will be missed especially for his wonderful imagination and sense of play by his grandchildren, Stephen (Lorie), Jeffrey (Karlye), Stephanie and David; and by his great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Rebecca, McCoy, Jasper and Margo. He will also be missed by May's extended family. Born in Winnipeg on September 27, 1913 he attended Kelvin High School and the University of Manitoba before transferring to Queen's University. After university he worked with Lever Brothers in Kitchener and then moved to Montreal where he spent many years with Bomac Batten. Upon retirement he moved to Trenton. Charles had a life long interest in history and music and participated throughout his life in a number of choirs and choral groups. He also served as church warden at St. Matthew's Church, Hampstead, Quebec and was a long time member of the Kiwanis Club of Trenton. The BUTLER Family extends heartfelt appreciation to all Belmont Long Term Care Staff in Belleville for their magnificent care. The family will receive Friends at St. George's Anglican Church, 25 John Street, Trenton, Ontario K8V 2X1 on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 12-1 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. The Ven. KIDDEY, Gwendolyn Mary (McCOY)
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Gwen on January 22, 2008, at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga. Gwen is daughter of the late Pearl and Bertrum McCOY, sister of Warren and the late Norman (Bert) McCOY; loving mother of Gayle, Janet, Donna, Gord and Steve, mother-in-law of Lynn, Ivan and Deborah and aunt of Tim McCOY. Gwen is also survived by her loving 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Gwen will be sadly missed, but will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at Erindale United Church, 1444 Dundas Crescent, Mississauga, Ontario on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m.

VENN, Muriel " Myrnie" Elizabeth

In her 96th year, Myrnie passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Al for 62 years. Loving mother of Douglas and his wife Olwen. Cherished grandmother of Lisa, Barbara and her husband John MOORE, Caroline and her husband Mihael McCOY, Robert and great-grandmother of Brandon, Kerry and Ethan. She will be sadly missed by her sister Norma. Family will receive Friends at the "Scarborough Chapel" of McDougall and Brown, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St. Clair) on Friday, March 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15th at 1 p.m. in the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 115 St. Andrew's Rd., Scarborough. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated by the family.
