82nd year. Loving husband of Judith

Father▼ of Sean (Connie,)
Jeff (Karen) and Joyce (Nick). Survived by grandchildren Michael,
Jonathan, Elizabeth, Shannon, Adam, Chad, Jodi, Stephanie, Michael
and great-grand_son Evan. He will also be greatly missed by his
nephew Peter (Tom). After joining the Royal Canadian Navy at
17, Bert served our country during World War 2. He was a lover
and collector of Canadian mystery fiction and had a passionate
interest in the history of his hometown, Toronto. A longtime
Cabbagetown resident, Bert will be fondly remembered by neighbours
and by the many Friends he made throughout his life. The family
will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles
Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East),
from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, April 14th, 2008. Funeral
Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 15th, 2008
at 11 o'clock. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian
Diabetes Association, 1400-522 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario,
M5G 2R5. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
