At Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, March 27, 2008. Margaret Elizabeth HALES of Aylmer. Beloved wife of the late William S. " Clair" HALES (1979.) Predeceased by her son Herbert R. HALES (2008,) daughter-in-law Sandra M. HALES (1996) and brothers James R. RITCHIE (1996,) and Donald M. RITCHIE (2000.) Dear aunt of Judith BEAUDRY of North Bay, Jean REID of North Bay and Donald T. RITCHIE and wife Sue of Parry Sound. Born in St. Chrysostome, Quebec, daughter of the late David and Margaret (McCAIG) RITCHIE. Margaret moved to Aylmer from Winnipeg in 1963. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday March 31, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m. Rev. Cam WATTS, officiating. REANEY, James Crerar
Peacefully at Marian Villa, Mount Hope Centre, London, on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in his 82nd year. Survived by his wife Colleen THIBAUDEAU; his son James Stewart REANEY and his wife Susan WALLACE of London and their daughter Elizabeth Wallace REANEY in Seoul, Korea; his daughter Susan REANEY and her husband Ian CHUNN and their daughter Edie Elizabeth Reaney CHUNN of Vancouver; his sister Wilma McCAIG and brother Ron COOKE. Predeceased by his son John Andrew REANEY (1966) and his parents James N. REANEY and Elizabeth CRERAR. Our thanks to the kind and caring staff and fellow residents of Marian Villa, to the many Friends who visited Jamie, and to all who have been involved in his care. A Celebration of Jamie's life will be held at Robinson Memorial United Church, 1061 Richmond Street at Sherwood Avenue, London, on Saturday, June 14 at 2: 00 p.m. A day of remembrance will take place this summer. Cremation will be followed by a private interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, London. Passed away May 19, 2008 in his 96th year. Beloved husband for 68½ years of Marion. Loved father of Charlotte MILLER and her husband Dick of Cool, California and the late Beverley McCAIG and her husband Paul. Loving grandfather of Neil McCAIG. Brother of the late Mrs. Pearl BACON of Amherst, Nova Scotia and the late Helen HASLAM of Prince Edward Island. son of the late Rev. Dr. Duncan and Edith MacRAE. Friends will be received at the Comstock Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m., followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2: 00 p.m., Reverend Doctor Mary Anne MacFARLANE officiating. Reception to follow in the Heritage Room. Interment Little Lake Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
