Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Monday morning, February 25th, 2008. Dorothy Roberta WEPPLER (née BULL,) of Owen Sound, in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Reuben WEPPLER. Loving mother of Wendy MINARD and her husband, Rodger, Pamela CRANDON and her partner, Brian LONG, Dawn BYERS and her husband, Steve, all of Owen Sound and Cheryl HENRY and her husband, Larry, of Wiarton. Proud grandmother of Michael (Kristina), Christopher (Stacey), Jason, Krista, Nicole, Scott, and great-grandmother of Gavin and Gage MINARD. Dorothy will be missed by her brothers, Oliver KERR, of Nova Scotia, Gerald BULL, Cecil McCARTNEY, Leonard McCARTNEY and Marvin McCARTNEY, all of Wiarton and her sisters, Coralie HARRISON, of Owen Sound, Emmy MOSER and Phyllis McCARTNEY, both of Wiarton. Predeceased by her mother, Helen McCARTNEY, her parents, Jim and Beatrice BULL and her brother, Keith McCARTNEY. A Memorial Service for Dorothy WEPPLER will be held in the Chapel of the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 - 14th Street West, Owen Sound (519-376-7492) on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. with Doctor Brad CLARK officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Spring Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society as your expression of sympathy.

Alice Wilhemina ABRA passed away peacefully at her home in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008. She was the loving sister of Velma BURR and her husband, Don, of Owen Sound. Alice will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, William and Alice ABRA (née BYE;) her brothers, Lyall ABRA (Adeline,) Roy ABRA (Grace,) Percy ABRA (Laura;) her sister, Beryle WEPPLER (Lawrence.) A Private Family Visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 - 14th Street West, Owen Sound (519-376-7492) followed by interment in Greenwood Cemetery. A Memorial Service for Alice ABRA will be held at Division Street United Church, 997 - 4th Avenue East, Owen Sound on Saturday, March 8th, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m. with Rev. Cathy HIRD officiating. Of Chesley, passed away at Elgin Abbey, Chesley on Thursday, April 10, 2008 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Ivor C. PHILLIPS. Dear mother of Dale and her husband Russ WILCOX of Waterloo, Bruce of Coldwater and Brian of Chesley. Loving grandmother of Tanya, Sean, Amanda, Brinley, Evan, Carissa (Shawn) and Victoria. Dear sister of Beatrice HATTEN, Lorraine (Lionel) NESBITT, Harold (Violet) KARN, Alvin (Betty) KARN, Dean (Betty) KARN and Larry (Ruth) KARN as well as sister-in-law of Bernice and Betty. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon and Wilmer, sisters Luella KUHL, Alvena KUHL and Viola JACKSON and her parents, Harry and Elizabeth (WEPPLER) KARN. Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Saint Mark's Lutheran Church, Chesley at 2 p.m. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery. SPEER, Allan David
Of Chesley, formerly of Tara, passed away at Elgin Abbey Lodge on Monday, July 7, 2008 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (BAKER.) Loving mother of Ronald SPEER of Dunnville and Shirley WEPPLER of Burlington. Cherished grandfather of Mark, Kim, Shannon, Glen, Kirk and Pamela as well as great-grandfather of Georgia, Maxwell, Elizabeth and Brysen. Allan will be missed by his siblings, Peggy RUFF of Tara and Jack and his wife Hazel of Hanover. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Freda SPEER of Tara, Jean SPEER of Innisfil and Donalda (Elmer) BARFOOT of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Mary Lou, son-in-law Dale WEPPLER, three sisters and five brothers. Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at Tara United Church at 3 p.m. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.
