94th year. Widow of the late Earl R.
PATTERSON, she returned
in 1981 to the Hanover/Walkerton area after her husband's passing
in 1974. Formerly she lived in Toronto and Brampton, devoting
her life to her husband in support of his ideals and goals for
the International Woodworkers of America and to her extended
family. Luella was the daughter of the late James J.

our husband, son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and friend
was received into heaven on July 11, 2008 to be with his mother
Eileen and his special brother Jamie after a courageous battle
with cancer. John was survived by his wife

and sons Jeff and Jody of Ontario. Also his father Emil and sister

THORNHILL of British Columbia, and several grandchildren John
left behind numerous Friends that he cherished for their Friendship.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a great
love for Ontario especially his property on Army Camp Road. His
heart was split between his love for here and his home in Cape
Breton. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Strathroy
Hospital for their compassion during this time. Cremation has
taken place as per John's wishes. A visitation for family and
Friends will take place on Wednesday, July 16 at 12 noon at St. Christopher's
Catholic Church, 68 Union St. Forest with a mass to follow at
1: 00 p.m. There will be a luncheon to celebrate John's life after
the mass at the Legion in Forest. This will be a chance for John's
family to meet his many Friends that has touched his life over
the years. Family flowers only. As an expression of sympathy
for John, donations in his memory may be made to the Cancer Society.
John, we love you and miss you already. Until we meet again,
we will keep you always in our hearts. Say hi to Jamie for us.
