and his son Aaron of Tillsonburg. Survived by his brother Clare
and his wife Kay of Langton and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by his parents Joe and Elva

Alice PHILLION.
Ross was a veteran of World War 2 serving in
the Navy. He was a faithful member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church in Tillsonburg for over 50 years and served his church
in many capacities. Ross was a member of the Tillsonburg Legion
Branch #153 for over 60 years, Tillsonburg District Memorial
Hospital - Auxiliary, the Tillsonburg Historical Society and
Museum, the Legion Poppy Fund and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive Friends, family,
and neighbours at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg
(519) 842-5221 on Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 2: 00-4:00 p.m. and
from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Service will commence
at 6: 30 p.m. A Masonic Service under the auspice of Tillsonburg
Ashlar Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons #701 Lodge will commence
at 7: 00 p.m. The memorial service for Ross will be on Monday,
June 30, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m. from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church,
Tillsonburg. Inurnment at the Tillsonburg Cemetery following
the service. At the family's request in lieu of flowers memorial
donations (payable by cheque) may be made to the Canadian Cancer
Society or a Charity of Choice. Personal condolences may be made
