of John William
McDOWELL, peacefully at Saint Thomas General Hospital
on Thursday Feb 21, 2008, with his fiance, children, brothers
and sisters and Friends by his side, John passed away in his

Predeceased by parents Hugh (2008) and Eileen (1971). It's so
sad that we have to say so long, seeing you go couldn't be stopped,
no matter how much praying and wishing. Now that you are gone
and you have found the power to be at peace, we hope that you
have gone fishing. You put so many smiles on so many faces, it
wasn't your job but rather a talented skill. You will be in our
hearts for more than a while, the memories of you are something
that time can't kill. When it comes to good men, it's unfortunate
to have lost another one". John was our Dad, a husband, friend,
brother son and uncle. Friends may visit with family at Needham
Funeral Service on Friday February 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will follow on Saturday February 23, 2008 at
1 o'clock. A private family interment will take place at a later
date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the London
Regional Cancer Centre.

Hill on May 15, 2008. It is in the spirit of my love for him
that I recognize the passing of my beloved husband. Bob leaves
behind Geraldine his wife of 43 years, and his children Sean
of Midland, Ontario and Shannon of The Pas, Manitoba. He is survived

Bertha enjoyed a teaching career in the Ottawa Valley, Oakville,
Kitchener and East York. She retired to Lakefield where she developed
a passion for walking. She quickly became known as 'the lady
who walks'. Her interest in people and her zest for life made
a simple stroll down Queen St. a major social event. Friends
