FINN, Donald J.
Passed away peacefully at the Highland Wood Long Term Care, Haliburton on Monday, June 30, 2008.
Don was the first graduate from Queens Law School in 1960 and started his Law Firm in Minden in 1962, Don had roots in Minden from working with his father "Micky Finn" helping to build the local Public School and Catholic Church. Don had many passions in life, his favorite being his horses, Don worked with his partner Gary VASEY, breeding and racing thoroughbred horses until his illness.
Don was the beloved husband of Carole (née McGARRITY,) dear father of Erin and her husband Winsor MacDONELL of Oakville, Eoin and his wife Insya of Vancouver, loving Dop to Aidan and Kiara MacDONELL. Predeceased by his parents Michael J. FINN and Margaret FINN. Fondly remembered by his family, staff and many Friends. The Finn family would like to especially thank the caring staff at Highland Wood.
Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Main Street, P.O. Box 427, Minden K0M 2K0 www.gordomonkfuneralhome.com on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. Then to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Minden on Friday, July 4, 2008 for visitation from 12: 00 noon until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1: 00 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Peacefully, at the London Health Sciences Centre University Hospital, with her family by her side, Mrs. Josephine GIBSON. Much loved wife of David GIBSON, predeceased. Loving mother of Lourdes CANNATA (Salvatore,) Rita DECICCO (Carmelo, deceased,) Charles GIBSON (Tracey), Edward GIBSON (Shelley), Raymond GIBSON, Grace VASILOFF (Rick,) Anne HEGARTY (Peter,) Joseph GIBSON (Annette,) David GIBSON Jr.. Will be sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. As well as brothers and sisters and their families in Australia and Malta. Friends will be received at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (east of Highbury) on Thursday, May 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Andrew the Apostle Church (1 Fallons Lane, London) on Friday, May 23rd at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Peacefully, at the Stratford General Hospital Mrs. June Rosalin VASILOFF passed away on May 9, 2008 in her 72nd year. Survived by husband David NEWSTEAD. Beloved mother of Terry and his wife Sue (RUDDY) VASILOFF, Wendy PFLANZNER, Rick and his wife Grace VASILOFF, Shelley and her husband Ed GIBSON and Bonnie VASILOFF. Dear sister of Bud WADE, Gerry WADE, Brian WADE and Vicki SINTZEL. Predeceased by sister Dawn WAYNE. Will be missed by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road E. for a service of remembrance on Saturday May 24, 2008 at 3: 00 p.m. Visitation one hour prior. Cremation has taken place. TYRRELL, Harriett
On February 17th at East General Hospital, after a brave struggle with cancer. Born February 2nd 1950 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Harriett was a beautiful person who will be sorely missed by her family and Friends. She is survived by her son Mark TYRRELL and his partner Jenny VASILOFF; by her mother Lynne TYRRELL and her sisters Geraldine STRINGER and Naomi TYRRELL, sister-in-law Mary TYRRELL and brothers-in-law Chris STRINGER and Mark SEPIC. She was predeceased by her father Ron TYRRELL and her brother Marvin TYRRELL.
She was the much loved Aunt of Justine CAREY, Jason STRINGER, Nic, Tyler and Taryn TYRRELL, Noah MALCOLM and Simone SEPIC and was Great Aunt to Jaime Hunt STRINGER and Steven and Clio CAREY.
She had a rich and varied career, most recently working for Eva's Phoenix. Harriett drew personal strength and gratitude from her spiritual life as a Tibetan Buddhist for over 35 years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 23rd at 2.30 p.m. at the Neighbourhood Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 79 Hiawatha Road, Toronto, Ontario M4L 2X7 (between Gerrard St E. and Dundas St E., west of Coxwell Ave).
A special note of thanks from Harriett's family to Doctor David Kendall for his sage advice during challenging times.

Enveloped in his daughters arms and surrounded by his grandchildren Archie Barnard HENDERSON passed away at Longworth Long Term Care, London in his 87th year, on Tuesday, February 12th, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Grace (JACKSON) HENDERSON and the late Margaret (WALKER) HENDERSON. Dear father of Carol VASQUEZ and her husband Frank MANUEL of London and Patricia WARREN and her husband James of Priddis, Alberta. Dear brother of Mary ROSS of London. Also loved by his grandchildren, Jamie WARREN and his wife Melissa SALRIN, Carie WARREN and Melissa WARREN. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the memorial service being conducted in the chapel of the A. TERNYIK, Betty-Lou (formerly TILLOTSON, née PRONG)
At London Health Sciences Centre following a courageous battle with Leukemia, Betty-Lou TERNYIK of Aylmer, passed away quietly on Friday morning, May 16, 2008 in her 75th year. The daughter of the late Ray and Olive (ANDERSON) PRONG, she had lived her entire life in the Aylmer district. Amongst the mourners are her two brothers, Fred PRONG of Saint Thomas and Ronald (Lynda Ann) PRONG, of Sparta, one sister Lynda-Mae (Larry) JENNER of Fingal. From her first marriage to Billie F. TILLOTSON (1926-1961) she is survived by one daughter Bonnie L. TILLOTSON- HERNANDEZ of Thornhill, two sons Barry W. (Linda) TILLOTSON of Saint Thomas and Budd R. (Lisa) TILLOTSON of Bradford. She is also survived by her husband Jim TERNYIK and two daughters Brenda L. (Dave) WILSON of Guelph and Nancy K. TERNYIK (Danny VASQUEZ) of Mississauga six grandchildren Steven HERNANDEZ, Deanne EASTWOOD, Jennifer TILLOTSON, James TILLOTSON, Sydney WILSON and Scott WILSON; two great-grandchildren Erika CALDWELL and Jordan EASTWOOD. Mrs. TERNYIK was a well known and highly esteemed resident within the music and crafts community of East Elgin. She taught music in public schools for many years, was organist and choir leader for over 45 years at Saint_John's United Church, Springfield and Saint_John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Aylmer. Her ability at various crafts was also well known and appreciated, including Temari balls, sewing, decorative lights, afghans, sweaters, and quilts. Her collection of angels was both thought provoking, and astounding. She enjoyed writing poetry, composing and writing music with lyrics. Visitation at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 12: 30-1:30 where the memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. Cremation has taken place, burial in Aylmer Cemetery following the service. Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, May 27th, 2008, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Joan. Loved father of Suzanne VASS (Mark,) Michele THOM (Graham,) and step-father of Melanie MILLER and Dan MILLER (Shelley.) Loving grandpa of Danielle PRETTO (Craig), Durham and Natasha THOM, Liam SCURFIELD, Chloe, Anna, Janie and Macy MILLER. Dear brother of Norman of Calgary. Roy was the Owner and President of Worldways of Canada. After retiring in 1991 Roy spent many happy winters travelling in his motor home discovering Canada and the U.S. Cremation has taken place.
