Suddenly at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Monday January 21, 2008. In her 74th year, R. Catherine (née THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) of Shallow Lake, the loved wife and best friend of Harold STOBBE for 53 years. Loving mother of James STOBBE and his wife Branka, Thomas STOBBE and his wife Judy, and Lynda and her husband Brad GRIMOLDBY. Dear grandmother of Scott and Andrew STOBBE, Taylor and McKenzie MOORE, Sean and Lisa STOBBE and Madison and Braden GRIMOLDBY. Sister-in-law of Ralph STOBBE and his wife Joan, Leona and her husband Bob BARWELL. Special aunt of Bonnie WYONCH and Sandy THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and Myrtle (née WILCOX) and by her brother Howard. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. Rev. Jack TWEDDLE officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Peacefully at Summit Place in Owen Sound, on Sunday morning, February 3rd, 2008. Stanley Harold SUTTON, of R.R.#8, Owen Sound, in his 81st year. Dearly beloved husband of Bernice SUTTON (nee LINLEY.) Loving father of Karen YEO and her husband, Troy, of Waterloo and Lori SUTTON, of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Jessica and Brendon YEO. Stan will be sadly missed by his sister, Mary ARMSTRONG, of Owen Sound, his sister-in-law, Anna SUTTON, of Collingwood and his many nieces, nephews and Friends. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Veronica SUTTON and his brother, Orville SUTTON. Friends may call at the Brian E. At Central Place Retirement Residence in Owen Sound Wednesday evening April 16, 2008. The former Ada McCOMB of Owen Sound formerly of R.R.#1 Dobbinton in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey McCURDY. Loving mother of Alvin and his wife Wanda of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by her two grandchildren; Jennifer of Glasgow, Scotland and Kirk of Kitchener. Dear sister-in-law of Gertrude McCOMB of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her son Lenard three brothers; Clifford, Morell and Alvin. Ada was an active member of the Tara Ladies Orange Benevolent Association and the Centenary United Church Women. Suddenly at her residence Monday morning July 14th, 2008. The former Marjorie CURRIE of R.R.#7, Owen Sound in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late George LAWRENCE. Loving mother of Gord and his wife Darlene, Bev and his wife Kathy all of Owen Sound, Ken and his wife Ann of Tara, Sandra and her husband Gary DORAN of Port Elgin and Judy and her husband Ron HILSDEN of Owen Sound. Lovingly remembered by her thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Dorothy HOFFMAN and Harold CURRIE and his wife Pat all of Owen Sound. Dear sister-in-law of Leonard LAWRENCE and his wife Rena of Shallow Lake, Eunice CRAIG and Marj QUESNEL both of Owen Sound. Predeceased by three brothers; Goldie, Wilfred and Gordon. Peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his adoring family. Kind, gentle, compassionate, generous, truly righteous. Beloved husband and soul-mate of Mirien. Adored father and father-in-law of Barbara (Barry), Judith (Barry) and Brian (Elizabeth). Cherished grandfather of Aaron (Dina), Whitney, Arielle, Adam, Corinne, Andrew, Brandon, Jason, Madlen, Dexter and the late Emlen. son of the late Rose and Benjamin. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Lottie (Al), the late Sammy (Margaret), the late Belle (Sam), Molly (Gerald) and the late Sylvia (Albert). Mentor to all his devoted and long-time staff.
Many thanks to Doctors TWEEDDALE and SHIN and the dedicated staff of 6 West and the Intensive Care Unit of North York General Hospital for their care and compassion, and to Billy, his devoted caregiver.

Proud Grandma of Laura and John and his wife Carrie, Sara and her husband Jon LOW/LOWE/LOUGH and Jessica, Mathew and his wife Tonya, Amy and Rachel. Great-grandmother of Lachlan. James is also survived by his brother Charles and sister Reta FLETCHER. He is predeceased by his sisters Edna BISHOP, Norma HARROD and Cora TURNER. A memorial service will be held in the Needham Funeral Chapel (520 Dundas Street, London) on Thursday April 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
