HARRISON,
Barbara
Ann (née
APRILE)
Carpe Diem! This was her final lesson imparted to family and
Friends. A teacher to the end, Barbara, who ended her extensive
career with 27 years at Crofton House School, slipped away peacefully
at home on March 22, 2008, surrounded by family, after a shockingly
brief illness. She leaves behind her two beloved children, Michael
and Gail, 10 younger brothers and sisters, a loving step-mother
and countless numbers of extended family and many very dear Friends.
In spite of the swiftness of her demise, she received an abundance
of heartwarming messages which conveyed to her the huge impact
she had on so many lives. Barbara's children wish to gratefully
acknowledge all the love and support they have received from
family, Friends and neighbours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated
in St. Patrick's Church, 2881 Main St. (at Twelth Ave.) on Thursday,
March 27, 2008 at 10: 00 a.m., Fr. Nicolas
TUMBELAKA celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully acknowledged to the
Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. On-line
