On February 13, 2008, in Toronto, at the age of 39. In the face
of a fifteen-year-long battle with melanoma, he stood brave,
optimistic and uncomplaining. Greg attended Chelsea Elementary
School, Philemon Wright High School, and Lisgar Collegiate Institute.
He received a degree in Honours Business Administration from
the University of Western Ontario Business School (now the Richard
Ivey School of Business) in 1991. He was passionate about his
work as a Program Manager with the Corporate PMO of Rogers
Cable. His keen intellect and genial way made him a natural manager.
His work with Daxxes, ADC Software, and Belgacom took him
to Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, Denver, Brussels, Colombia, Chile
and Bangalore. Greg inherited his father's love of travel and
culture and revelled in his impressions of Paris, Prague, Australia,
London, Poland and elsewhere. Barrelling down Camp Fortune's
hardest runs as a kid prepared him for slopes in the French Alps
and British Columbia. He was an accomplished golfer and tennis
player. He enjoyed getting away to Eddis Island on Cachacoma
Lake with his Friends, cousins, and dog Zeus, where he would
sometimes paint landscapes. Greg's tremendous general knowledge
made him equally comfortable discussing politics, history, wine
or dog breeding. He made Friends as easily in the mountains of
Colombia as in the boardroom. His two last trips were with his
father, to Italy and Portugal (in October 2007). Greg was witty,
discerning, spiritual, full of joie de vivre and an inspiration
to his family and many Friends for both the way he lived his
life and how he dealt with his illness. To spend time with him
was to feel cheered.
Dearly loved and missed by his father Aleksander Boguslaw, mother
Joan Eddis, sister Alexa (Gerry), brother Rory Munn, and nieces
Caroline and Sarah. Special thanks to his faithful Friends John
and Seanna Reid, Steve and Louisa Bull, Ben and Evan Nuttall,
Fraser Walters, Julian and Shelley Franklin, and Natalie Mamen
cousins Tim
EDDIS,
Mary
CROWTHER, and Margarita
MORALES; Suzanne
MONTGOMERY and the whole team at Rogers; and doctors Vincent
Young and David Satok for their unwavering support and love.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st at two
o'clock at the McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Road, Wakefield,
Quebec (819) 459-1800. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made
to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation for melanoma research.

FOX-
TOPPING,
Helen
Doreen (née
FOX)
Tuesday, April 15, 2008 12: 01 a.m., at age 75 years and 7 months,
after battling cancer, a 'Great Lady' Helen Doreen
FOX, immediately
obtained her wings. Helen's son had promised her that he would
walk hand in hand with her to the gate when the time came, but
he would not be able to go through with her. He did just that.
When they reached the gate entrance there waiting was her cat
Barnaby with beautiful white wings with just a little black on
the tips. Her son watched as she and Barnaby entered through
the gate. As she did she turned ever so gracefully, displaying
the most beautiful and largest white wings, dressed in a long
flowing white gown and with silky long black hair blew him a
kiss. She had found happiness and peace at last. Helen was born
Saturday,
September 15, 1932 to Madeline Helen
ALDERSON and Vernon
Winfield FOX of Mount Brydges, where she grew up. For the past
48 years she has resided in London. Helen leaves behind a family
that loves her dearly. Husband Ken, son Larry (Wendy), and daughters
Heather, Robin (Robert), Wendy, and Gail. She is also survived
by six grandchildren Joshua, Scott, Tabitha, Courtney, Jonathan,
and Casey and one great-grand_son Jamie. Helen is pre-deceased
by her brother Billie (1936-1936); her mother Madeline (1906-1967),
her father Vern (1907-1971). The private family memorial was
held on Saturday, April 19th, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Elliott-Madill
Funeral Home on Adelaide Road in Mount Brydges. Cremation with
inurnment was at the Mount Brydges Cemetery. As an expression of
