TOOLE, John L.
95, passed away July 14, 2008. He was born February 16, 1913 in London, Ontario Canada. John lived most of his working years in Montreal and retired at age 65 years after a very accomplished career at Canadian National Railway as a Vice President and Chairman of C.N. Investment. At retirement, John moved to Ormand Beach and later Jacksonville. John was very active in golf both on the course having played into his late eighties and off-the-course on the executive of golf clubs in both Montreal and Ormand Beach. He is predeceased by his wife Elaine Patricia TOOLE who he married in 1943; brother, Grant TOOLE; sister, Marion WOOD; Father, Wade TOOLE and Mother, Mable LEARY; brother-in-law, Kenneth Augustine CALLEN; sister in-law, Bernice CALLEN. Family members include his nieces, Martha Mary TOOLE, Sarah CARLEY- TOOLE, Cherie Ann SPITZE and Mary Margaret CALLEN; nephews, Matthew TOOLE and Sean Charles CALLEN; great-nieces, Mary Jane DANIS, Sarah DANIS, Carol DANIS and Rebecca DANIS.
Private family services will be held.

87, passed away at his residence, Caressant Care on Bonnie Place, Saint Thomas on Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (née WELCH) HONSINGER (1984.) Father of Jim HONSINGER (Wendy,) and Terry HONSINGER, and grandfather of Tim HONSINGER, and Jay HONSINGER (Laurie,) all of Saint Thomas. Great-grandfather of Gregory, Tristan and Taylor HONSINGER. Brother of Ruth TUFF of London, late Max HONSINGER, and the late Urlin HONSINGER. Also survived by sister-in-law, Sharon TOOLEY of Saint Thomas, as well as several nieces and nephews. Born in Saint Thomas, January 22, 1921, he was the son of the late Clifford and Norma née SMILEY) HONSINGER. Paul was a retired employee of Timken Canada. During the Second World War, he served overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a member of Lord Elgin Branch #41, Royal Canadian Legion, Saint Thomas. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment will be made privately in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice gratefully acknowledged.

Formerly of R.R.#6 Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace, Chatham on Tuesday May 20, 2008 at the age of 92. Born in Tilbury East Twp., daughter of the late William and Julia TOOMER. Helena was a member of the Kent Bridge Women's Institute, and the Pie Ladies of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. She had volunteered in the Tuck Shop at Thamesview Lodge for many years. Beloved wife of the late Edward PUGH (1980.) Loving mother of Stuart PUGH (Dolores) of Charing Cross, Joanne DIETRICH (Phil) of Chatham and Gerald PUGH of R.R.#6 Thamesville. Loving grandmother of Brian, Kevin, Crystal, Dustin, and Derek PUGH, Jeffrey and Jonathan DIETRICH. Sadly missed by 6 beautiful great-granddaughters. Dear mother-in-law of Debra PUGH of Chatham. Dear sister of Wilhelmine. Predeceased by 9 brothers and 3 sisters. The PUGH family will receive Friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Peacefully, in the loving arms of her husband, after a heroic four year battle with cancer, on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Parkwood Hospital, Nelly HORTON (née VAN DER TOORN) passed away in her 59th year. Loving wife and best friend of Rick for 42 years. Loving mother of Laura PLANK and her husband Rob, Tammy HORTON and Dane ARN. Cherished Nana of Sydney. Will be greatly missed by Baylee, Belle and Mr. Magoo. Nelly will be sadly missed by many family and Friends both in Canada and Holland. Predeceased by her loving mother Joan VAN DER TOORN (2006.) Friends will be received at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), for visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. (with visitation one hour prior). Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In memory, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program would be greatly appreciated.
