Patricia▼ was taken from us suddenly
through unforeseen illness, and her vital presence on this earth
will be sadly missed. A brilliant scholar who taught English
Literature and English-as-a Second-Language to thousands, Patricia
played an integral role in shaping the lives of young London
High School Students and New Canadians alike, and was a support
to them long after they moved on to other pursuits and careers.
She leaves behind a vast legacy of Friendships and admirers and
is survived by her loving grandchildren, Madison, Zoe, Isaac
and Cole. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral
Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday morning,
April 22nd from 10: 30 o'clock until the time of the funeral service
at 12 noon. Donations to Amnesty International or Canadian Liver
Foundation would be appreciated.

59, Toronto, died peacefully, March 07, 2008, at Toronto General
Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born November 29,
1948 in Chengtu, China, he was a
son of Walton Hibbert and Muriel
(KITCHEN)
TONGE who were serving as United Church missionaries
in China. Murray graduated from the University of Western Ontario
School of Law in 1973 and was admitted to the bar in 1975. He
began his career with Canada Trust in 1975 as General Solicitor
and advanced to Vice President Pension Trust, Regional Vice President
Prairie Region in 1997 and
to Vice President of Retail Projects
in 1999. In retirement, Murray continued as a Consultant for
TD Canada Trust, leading many key projects for the newly merged
Bank until 2005. Upon completion of these assignments, he tackled
his dream project which was to manage the construction of a beautiful
family cottage on Lake Chandos in the Kawarthas. This project
was successfully completed in 2007. Last summer, Murray was stricken
with cancer and he attacked it with the same strength and determination
to win that he had brought to all aspects of his life. He refused
to let this illness get in the way of his many plans and he was
sure that, with the help of the experts, he could gain the upper
hand. Sadly, this is the one battle that was lost but his courage
and strength will live on as an inspiration to all that shared
this journey with him. Murray is survived by his loving wife,
Pat, mother, Muriel, sons Graham (Y.L.) and Philip (Mariana),
daughters Robyn (Diego), Pamela (Tony), Lindsay, brother David
(Gail), sisters Leslie (Allan)
