TIFFIN, Sarah Marguerite (née GILLILAND)
Peacefully at Chelsay Nursing Home on April 4, 2008, Sarah Marguerite TIFFIN (née GILLILAND) in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill TIFFIN. Loving mother of Wayne TIFFIN (Andrea) and Jackie DAVIDSON (Murray.) Dear grandmother of Patrick and Laura TIFFIN and Kenneth DAVIDSON. She will be sadly missed by her sister Evelyn as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Cathy, parents John and Rebecca GILLILAND as well as 12 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Needham Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street, London on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.

PIRAK, Everett Leo " Joe"
Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at the age of 92. True and devoted husband of Lucille for 61 years. Treasured and beloved father of Warner, Paul and Kristine. Dear father-in-law of Carolyn TIFFIN (deceased,) Maria Teresa DI PAOLA, and Rick CARTER. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Pierangelo, Gaia, Stephen and Kevin and by his sister Lyla PIRAK. Everett (Joe) was one of London's most highly respected secondary school teachers for over 25 years. He was also a former Navigating Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War when he met his lifelong companion Lucille. The family will receive Friends at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North on Thursday from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. where a memorial service will be conducted on Friday, April 11th, 2008 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Everett to the Memorial Boys and Girls Club or the charity of your choice. BURROWS, Emma Jean (née TIFFIN)
Of Wallaceburg and formerly of Tupperville, passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in her 92nd year. Jean is the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Carrie Elfleda FRY) TIFFIN and beloved wife of the late Edward Grant Catherall BURROWS (1958.) Loving mother and mother-in-law of Lee and Barb BURROWS of Dresden and Gail and Bill WATSON of Wallaceburg. Dear grandmother of Richard, Tom and Bill BURROWS, Mike, Patrick and Lee-Ann WATSON and families. Great-grandmother of Justin, Holly, Ashley and Cody BURROWS, Amanda, Ben, Kyle and Wade WATSON and great-great-grandmother of Hayley-Marie BURROWS. Sister of Helen and Bruce MURRAY and Elsie and the late Harry McRAE. Jean loved oil painting, taught art at Walpole Island First Nations, volunteered at the Museum and La Point-Fisher nursing home, was a member of the Trinity United Church Women, life member of the Eastern Star and founding member of the Snye Patriotic League. Friends may call at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin) in Wallaceburg from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church on Friday, July 25 at 1: 30 p.m. The interment will follow at Dresden Cemetery. SUTHERLAND, Robert " Bob" Bruce (1940-2008)
Robert Bruce SUTHERLAND, beloved husband of Jeannette of thirty-nine years, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008 after a courageous battle with lung cancer at the age of 67 years. Bob was born in Toronto, Ontario on October 21, 1940. He was in the insurance business for forty-eight years, working for Continental Insurance, Great American Insurance in Toronto and Montreal and Gerling Global Insurance (Gcan). Bob was always generous to charitable organizations. Robert is survived by his loving wife Jeanette his aunt Marg GUSCOT of Toronto; his cousins, John (Theresa) TENSEE of Toronto, Susan (David) REID of Victoria, John (Heather) GUSCOT of Toronto, and Patricia (Russ) TIFFIN of Toronto. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Lucille SUTHERLAND and his stepmother Hettie, his son Billie and his beloved Kado dog. Quietly at Gibson Long Term Care, North York in his 88th year. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Daisy GUSCOTT. Survived by his cousins, Margaret GUSCOTT of North York, John (Heather) GUSCOTT of Pickering; Patricia (Russell) TIFFIN of Oakville Eric (Mavis) BONHAM of Burlington, Graycie CAMERON and Daisy THOMAS of Florida. Mr. GUSCOTT served in the Canadian Naval Services during World War 2. He was with the assessment office for the City of North York. A private family service was held. Interment Prospect Cemetery.
