At London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Hospital at 5 a.m.
on the 6th day of the seventh month of 2008, Anita 'Joan'
(McLEAN)
LOCKYEAR in her 69th year, after a long and courageous battle
with cancer, passed away. Joan will be lovingly remembered by
husband Stewart. She was a loving mother to Jamie and Nancy (John)
TICKNOR and Grandma of Michael and David. Predeceased by her
mother Letitia and father Ralph and step-mother Esther and step-father
Angus. Loved by her brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins
and Aunt Winkie. She was a proud charter member of the Forest
City Decorative Artists. Cremation has taken place. A service
to celebrate her life will be held at Saint Paul's Cathedral, 472 Richmond
Street (at Queens), on Wednesday, July 9th at 2 p.m. In lieu
of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be
