TAYS, Mary Elizabeth (ROGERS)
Passed away at McGarrell Place, London, on Thursday April 24, 2008, Mary Elizabeth (ROGERS) TAYS in her 81st year. Dear mother of Carol McNEIL and her late husband Earl of Barrie and Wendy CHESTERFIELD and her husband Bruce of London. Loved grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Davie and Betty ROGERS of Fredericton, New Brunswick and Pauline BUSCOMBE of Barrie. Special thanks to the nursing and support staff for their excellent care over the years at McGarrell Place (Versa Care). A private memorial service will be held at McGarrell Place at a later date with Sue Lupson officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the Woodland Cemetery, London. AUSTIN, James R.
It is with profound sadness that we announce that after a courageous battle with leukemia, Jim passed away on January 20, 2008 at the age of 48.
He leaves behind his wife Karen, his mother Mildred, brothers John (Jackie), Dave (Anne), Robert, and his sister-in-law Cathy. He was predeceased by his father Colonel Ross AUSTIN. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews January HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON (Lorne,) Scott, Kristi, Liam AUSTIN, Andrew and Michael TAYS. He will be greatly missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He will be remembered for his passion and enthusiasm for life and his amazing sense of humour. The family would like to thank Dr. J. BRANDWEIN and his medical staff at the Princess Margaret Hospital and especially the nurses on 14A. Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service to celebrate Jims life at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East (between Kennedy Rd and Midland Avenue.) Toronto on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
