Miranda, John, Bobby, Joshua and Nicholas. Pre-deceased by sister
Melvina and brothers Bob, Delbert and Harris. Marjorie was an
active member in the Maxwell Women's Institute, Anglican Church
Women's League, Young at Heart Senior's Club and was the Assistant
Post Mistress at the Maxwell Post Office (1976-1986). The family
received Friends at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton, on
Sunday, March 9 from 1-5 p.m. Service was held in the chapel
on Monday at 1 p.m. Spring interment Maxwell Cemetery. Memorial
contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke
Foundation.

Just shy of sixty years, Colleen will also be deeply missed by

Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Colleen attended both Holy Rosary
Elementary School and Marion High School, and will be remembered
as a Provincial champion athlete in badminton. Graduating from
the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Montreal, Colleen began her
studies at Newton College of the Sacred Heart in Boston, Massachusetts
in the late 60's. This is where she met her life long best friend
Leslie TALBOT, who walked beside Colleen in the last months of
her brave journey. An intrepid traveller, Colleen lived and studied
in India, New Zealand and Hawaii. In 1977 she married Mr. Leo
SMITH of San Francisco. They ran a successful storage company
together in Lahaina, Maui for several years until Leo's passing.
Colleen then continued her studies in China in 1983, and the
Dominican University of San Rafael in Marin County, California
in 1984. She was a natural teacher, a gifted holistic health
practitioner and a passionate lover of people. Anyone who had
the privilege of knowing Colleen will miss her genuine interest
in their lives, her sage repartee, and advise (given freely),
and her sparkling sense of humour. The family extends special
thanks to Colleen's many devoted Friends… and our heartfelt thanks
goes to The Hospice of San Diego and especially to Doctor Roger
Strong and all the angel caregivers. Prayers for Colleen are
at 4: 00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8 at Mother of Confidence Church
at 3131 Governor Drive, San Diego, California. The funeral service
will be held at 10: 00 a.m. on Monday, June 9th at St. Constantine
and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 3459 Manchester Avenue, Cardiff-by-the-Sea,
California. Friends wishing to celebrate Colleen's memory may
