REAUME, Muriel (née MURPHY)
96 years, of Jeannette's Creek, passed away at Copper Terrace, Chatham on Friday, March 7, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred REAUME (1988.) Loving mother of Irvin and Dola REAUME of Jeannette's Creek, Claudia and James LAEVENS of Pain Court, Ann and Larry STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of London, Elizabeth (Libby) and Luc GAGNIER of Jeannette's Creek. Dearest grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by granddaughter Johnna in 1992. Predeceased by parents James and Theresa (TAGGART) MURPHY. Dear sister of the late Theresa (1996) and late husband Maurice LOUCKS (1997,) the late Gertrude (1990) and late husband Virgil GETTY, the late James (Bud) MURPHY (1989) and surviving wife Margaret of Tilbury. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Tilbury Lioness Club service 7: 30 p.m. Tuesday. Parish prayers 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service from the funeral home Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m., then to Saint Peter's Church, R.R.#2, Tilbury for Funeral Mass at 11: 00 a.m. Interment at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations to Victorian Order of Nurses or charity of choice appreciated.

BEATTIE, Betty E. (née MERRIAM)
Passed away peacefully, at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife and best friend, for 64 years, of Ralph. Loving mother of Susanne CHAMBERS (Fred,) Barbara DEMPSEY (Tom), David (Cathy), and Merri. Loving grandmother of Janice, Shannon, Sarah, Carolyn, Patricia, and Lindsay. Adored great-grandmother of Justin, Ryan, and Kristy TAGGART, and Natasha, Danny, Caitlin, and Suzanne CHAMBERS.
Betty will be sadly missed by her many Friends from Guelph, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ottawa, and Edmonton. She was a dear and special friend to so many, and made a strong and lasting impression on all whom she met. In addition to her active family life, Betty was a dedicated and highly effective volunteer. Her organizational and leadership talents led to many significant accomplishments in a number of service organizations, including guiding, hospital auxiliary work, and palliative care.
A Memorial Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 20 Quebec Street, Guelph (day and time to be announced).

PERKINS, William Acheson
On Friday, May 30th, 2008, surrounded by family, following a courageous fight awaiting a liver transplant, at the age of 69 years. He will be dearly missed by wife Joan (TAILOR/TAYLOR) and children Andrew (Jeannie), Jonathan (Eileen) and Mary Caroline. Dearly loved Pa of grand_sons Declan and Ben PERKINS and granddaughter Amelia PERKINS. Beloved son to Joseph and Doris (TAGGART) PERKINS, both deceased, and son-in-law to Anna (Taylor) COLEMAN. Loyal and loving brother to Sherle PERKINS and Harry PERKINS (deceased,) and brother-in-law to Liz WEBSTER. Esteemed and loving uncle to Heather PERKINS- McVEY (David), Karen BROSSO (Brian), Kathy PERKINS and Joe PERKINS (Tammy); Mark (Michelle), Barry (Patricia), and Harry (Katie) WEBSTER. Greatly loved by many grand nieces and nephews. Graduated and earned his B.Comm. from McGill University (1963), where he played varsity football and proud brother in the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Bill had a distinguished business career in transportation leading Taggart Service Limited as part of the Perkins family group of businesses, in warehousing, and in real estate sales with Coldwell Banker Sarazen Realty. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Saint_James Anglican Church on Wednesday at 11: 30 a.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. Suddenly at home, on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008. Patric Jon "Ric Chip" WHITE/WHYTE of West Lorne in his 61st year. Ric Chip was the loving husband and best friend of Branka SAVIC. Survived by his father-in-law Richard BRAUMPTON of London and predeceased by his mother Patricia BRAUMPTON (2005.) Also survived by step sister Sherry GABRIELLE (Ben) of London, uncle Karl WORK (Pudge) of Stouffville, cousins Jayne BERNARDINO (John) and Karen (John) LANG, mother-in-law Natalija SAVIC, sister-in-law Rada STOJKOVICH (Douglas) and nieces Anna GROSSI (Wally) and Anita TAGLIONE (Rene.) Ric Chip spent many years working for Hostess-Frito Lay and was a tireless volunteer in the community of West Elgin. He was a life member and past president of West Elgin Legion Branch #221, a member of the West Lorne Optimist Club and Sertoma Club. "All you had to do was ask, Ric Chip was there." Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel, 202 Main Street, Friday, February 29th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from Saint Mary's church, West Lorne on Saturday at 1 p.m. Rev.
