Italy from where Amedeo emigrated to Canada in 1955. Visitors
will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo
Street at King Street on Tuesday from 7-9 o'clock and Wednesday
from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary's
Church, 345 Lyle Street at York Street on Thursday afternoon
June 26, 2008 at 1 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum
at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Parkwood Hospital Foundation
would be appreciated by the family.

On Wednesday, February 6, 2008, following a sudden illness, Gerald
Patrick TABER died at Kingston General Hospital, with his family
by his side. He is survived by Joan, his wife of 52 years, his
son Geoff (Jacquie
GARDNER,) his daughter Shelagh
WALSH and his
grandchildren, James, Stephen and Phoebe
WALSH and Scott and
Andrew TABER.
Gerry was born in Saskatchewan to Russell and Dorothy
TABER (née
HASLAM.) He was predeceased by his older brother Harry
in 1995. He came east to attend Queen's University (where he
received degrees in Arts and
in Commerce in 1949) and then Harvard
Business School (1952). Gerald worked in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal
and New York City before returning to Kingston in 1999. His family
and Friends will remember a man of great good humour, gentleness
and generosity. Friends are invited to join the family at their
home in Kingston on Monday, Febr uar y 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. In
accordance with Gerald's wishes, a private burial service will
be held at a later date. If desired, donations in Gerald's memory

Peacefully on February 9, 2008, at the age of 94, in the company
of her family. Loving wife of the late Del
CLARK and loving mother

TABISZ, and her husband George, Samuel

CLARK and his wife Fran. Beloved
grandmother of Marie-Isabelle, Ted, Rob, Joey, Laura, Bert, Jeannie,
Hugh, and Carrie, along with fourteen great-grandchildren. Born
in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, January 9, 1914, she graduated from
Saint Francis Xavier University before going to New York, where
she obtained a Masters in Economics at Columbia University. She
subsequently moved to Ottawa to work as an economist in the Department
of Labour. In Ottawa she met Del
CLARK, whom she married on December 26,
1939. They moved to Toronto and then to Agincourt, where they
raised their family and where she served as returning officer
for the six federal elections from 1953 to 1965 in the largest
constituency in Canada at that time. She was also actively involved
in the community, including working as a coordinator for emergencies
at the Red Cross. She subsequently taught economics at Centennial
College. A remarkable woman of her era, she combined a sharp
mind with a joy of life and an ability to make Friends and to
get along with people from all walks of life. Friends may call
at the Trull Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge Street, Tuesday February 12,
from 6: 30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at
the Trull Funeral Home at 2: 00 p.m. on Wednesday February 13th.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a bursary fund established
in Rosemary's memory at Saint Francis Xavier University, Antigonish,
Nova Scotia.
