Sadly▼ missed by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
and a number of nieces and nephews. Mamie was born in Saint Thomas
on March 11, 1914, the daughter of the late Felice and Mary

She was a life member of Holy Angels' Church and a 68 year
member of the Catholic Women's League. Resting at Williams Funeral
Home, 45 Elgin St. Saint Thomas until Friday morning and then to
Holy Angels' Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels'
Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will
be recited at the funeral home on Thursday at 7: 00 p.m. Remembrances
may be made to the Holy Angels' Church Restoration Fund, Our
Lady's Missionary or the charity of choice.

Special thanks to Gertie, Jackie, Nancy, Tom, Carrie, Theresa,
Angie and all the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh. Visiting Tuesday,
from 2: 00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral
Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830).
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008
at 11: 30 a.m. Reverend Kevin
GEORGE officiating. A cremation will
follow with an interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness,
a donation to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or to the Windsor
Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted
in memory of Ida in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication
service will be held on September 28, 2008. All are welcome.
