Irene was a whole-hearted volunteer. She actively and continually supported her community.
She was a life member of Ontario’s Hospital Auxiliary. For 25 years, she made and provided
hot chocolate syrup for the arena. She was a member of the Little Current United Church and
she sold Nevada tickets for the Manitoulin Health Center Auxiliary until she was 85 years old.
Visitation was at Island Funeral Home Monday evening.
Funeral Service 2: 30 pm Tuesday August 5, 2008 at the United Church in Little Current.
Donations to Manitoulin Health Centre Auxiliary, the Killarney Health Centre Equipment Fund,
or the United Church would be appreciated in Irene’s memory. Burial at Mountainview Cemetery.

Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Born in Surhuizum,
Friesland, Holland, on May 18, 1928. He came to Canada with his
parents Jakop and Wytscke "Louise"

Henry farmed most of his life in Raleigh Township until his passing.
He will be greatly missed by his partner and best friend of 22 years,
Gail CASHMAN.
