TAIT/TAITE/TATE, Rhoda " Jean" (née HEWITT)
A resident of London and formerly of Bothwell passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus at the age of 91. She was born in Bothwell daughter of the late John and Jenny (PATTERSON) HEWITT. Jean was a former Mayor of the Town of Bothwell in the early 1960's and a life member of Bothwell Baptist Church. Beloved wife of the late Jack TAIT/TAITE/TATE (2001.) Loving mother of David John TAIT/TAITE/TATE and his wife Ardene of Embro. Special grandma of Lou Ann TAIT/TAITE/TATE, Arlene BEILBY, Darlene STONE, Katharine WHITTINGSTALL and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Doris ARMSTRONG of Mitchell's Bay, Irene WOODS of Blenheim and Jack HEWITT (Jay) of London. She is predeceased by a sister Hazel SIDDALL and brothers Donald, Lorne, Archie, Richard and Ronald. The TAIT/TAITE/TATE family will receive Friends at the Badder and Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm Street, Bothwell on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. Steve FILYER of the Bothwell Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Bothwell Cemetery. Suddenly on Saturday, May 31st, 2008 at University Hospital. Mr. John W.S. SIDDALL of London in his 49th year. Beloved husband of Coby (DE WATER) SIDDALL. Loving father of Chadwick SIDDALL, and Leah CARDE, and Alexandra SIDDALL all of London. Also loved by his granddaughter Rylie ALEXA. Dear brother of Robert ROSS and his wife Christine of London, Sherry GARNER of Strathroy, and Darryl SIDDALL of Strathroy. John is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and Friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 4th, 2008 at 11 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Passed away February 29, 2008 at home with his loving wife, Anita PERSSON- DAVIS, by his side. Will be sadly missed by his wife and stepchildren Maria BOOKALAM (Bill) and Maria's children William and Holly MARLES, Douglas SIDDALL and his children Christopher and Justin, Leslie SIDDALL (Julia) and their children Matthew and Stephanie, and his brother Don (Lila), their children Robert (Debra), Ronald, Gary (Jennifer), sister June BESSEY (Jim), their children Kay (Peter MILLER) and Sharon. Predeceased by parents Harvey and Winifred and niece Karen. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Art's Life to take place March 15, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. in the chapel at The Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf, 1 Royal Parkside Drive, Barrie. In lieu of flowers donations to The Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

WHIPP, Thelma (née EDWARDS)
Peacefully at home on Monday, April 28, 2008. With patience, grace, love, kindness and beauty, Mom lived her life to the fullest. Her strength in the last 8 years was an inspiration to all who knew her. Devoted mother of Ruth Ann and Susan (Lou) PETSINIS. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Harold, her sister Ruth and brother Jack. Survived by her sister Beth (Gerald) SIDES and brother Bruce (Ann) EDWARDS. Fondly remembered by all who knew her. Mom will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her love of curling and bridge, and her many years of active involvement at The Cricket Club. The family gives special thanks to her long term caregivers Muriel and Valma, and others, for their care and attention which enabled her to remain in her home. A private funeral service will be held.
