Passed peacefully at the Houses of Providence in Toronto on Sunday,
February 3, 2008 at the age of 83, completing a life filled with
love. Father
CORLESS was the beloved
son of the late William
CORLESS and Sarah
COAKLEY of St. Catharines. He is survived by
his cousins Mary

DANSON and Francis and Joyce
SEPHTON in England. He lived his life with enormous and infectious
enthusiasm and he was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed,
by his many adopted families, earned during a lifetime of devotion
to others and
to God. Father
CORLESS was an active priest in
the Archdiocese of Toronto for 49 years. He was ordained on June 3,
1950 and served as Associate Pastor at Saint_James Parish, Toronto,
Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish, Toronto, St. Leo's Parish, Etobicoke
and Saint Mary's Parish, Toronto and
as Pastor of Saint Mary's Parish,
Victoria Harbour, Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Etobicoke, Saint Paul's
Basilica, Toronto and Saint Maria Goretti Parish, Scarborough.
He served as Spiritual Director at Serra House from 1995 until
1999, when he retired. Father was a friend of L'Arche from its
beginning in North America and was also deeply involved in Faith
and Light, Young Christian Workers and the Catholic Children's
Aid Society. His compassion and kindness knew no depths and are
the greatest gifts he leaves to all those who knew him, and many
who didn't. Many thanks to the staff at the Houses of Providence,
the Archdiocese of Toronto and especially to Donna Peniston for
the loving care provided to him. Resting at R.S. Kane Funeral
Home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, on Tuesday, February 5
from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at L'Arche Daybreak,
11339 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m.
on Wednesday, February 6. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
in St. Luke's Parish, Thornhill on Thursday morning at 11 a.m.
Interment in the spring at St. Louis Cemetery, Mt. St. Louis.
Donations in Father's memory, if desired, can be made to Development
and Peace, Scarboro Missions, L'Arche Daybreak or Street Haven.

Harriett
On February 17th at East General Hospital, after a brave struggle
with cancer. Born February 2nd 1950 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Harriett
was a beautiful person who will be sorely missed by her family
and Friends. She is survived by her son Mark
TYRRELL and his
partner Jenny
VASILOFF; by her mother Lynne
TYRRELL and her sisters

TYRRELL, sister-in-law Mary

She was predeceased

She was the much loved Aunt of Justine

SEPIC and
was Great Aunt to Jaime Hunt
STRINGER and Steven and Clio
CAREY.
She had a rich and varied career, most recently working for Eva's
Phoenix. Harriett drew personal strength and gratitude from her
spiritual life as a Tibetan Buddhist for over 35 years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 23rd at
2.30 p.m. at the Neighbourhood Unitarian Universalist Congregation,
79 Hiawatha Road, Toronto, Ontario M4L 2X7 (between Gerrard St
E. and Dundas St E., west of Coxwell Ave).
A special note of thanks from Harriett's family to Doctor David
Kendall for his sage advice during challenging times.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gaden Choling, a
meditation centre close to Harriett's heart: Gaden for the West,
