At his residence on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 Joseph LEBEL of Dorchester in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his wife Connie (Barker). Loving father of Fred (wife Lauren) of London, George of Ingersoll, Mike (wife Joanne) of Putnam and Lisa SEMCHISM (husband Chris) of London. Much loved grandfather of eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Lorraine LEBEL. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, Dorchester on Thursday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation with interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery at a later date. 83 of Largo, Florida (formerly of Belle Haven, Virginia) was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 22, 2008. The son of the late William and Pauline STYKE of Toronto, Ontario. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Laurna Alice STYKE, his son Rodger W. STYKE, wife Sheila and grand_son Ronnie (Wayne) MARSHALL, Jr. of Parksley, Virginia, Sisters: Mary SEMKIW of Oakville, Ontario, Stephanie LOW/LOWE/LOUGH of Oakville, Ontario and Vera VINNICK of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Nephews; Dennis SEMKIW and his wife Norlee and children Johnathon and Marilee of Mississauga, Ontario, Brian SEMKIW and his wife Colleen and children Ashleigh, Katie, Marrissa and Kelly of Oakville, Ontario, Randy LOW/LOWE/LOUGH and his wife Joceyln and children Kristin and Jessica and one niece Patricia LOW/LOWE/LOUGH and daughter Leanne of Oakville, Ontario. He was born in the Ukraine, immigrated to Canada in 1930 and the United States in 1965. He was the developer and owner of the Meatland/Food City supermarket chain on the Delmarva Peninsula from 1973-1989. He was an active member of Northside Baptist Church of St. Petersburg, Florida serving as a deacon and on the finance committee. A memorial service will be held at the Northside Baptist Church, 6000 38th Ave North, St. Petersburg, Florida, Friday March 28, 2008 at 1 p.m. A visitation will be one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

After a lengthy battle with dementia, Martin "Buzz" in his 73rd year of Forest, went home to be with his Saviour suddenly but peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on May 12, 2008. Loving husband of Peggy (Joyce). Much loved father of Cathie BROWN of London, Kimberley and Jim BROWN- FAUST of Clemson, South Carolina, Lisa and Andy PARRENT of London. We regret to announce the passing of Jack WIGGIN on April 26th, 2008 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 87 years. With an M.Sc. and M.D. from Queen's University, as well as a PhD from Cambridge University, Jack had a distinguished career in medicine and health sciences that spanned six decades. Among his numerous accomplishments, he will be particularly remembered for his outstanding contribution to the advancement of Canadian clinical research and biomedical science. His many professional titles included Captain in the Royal Canadian Medical Corps., family physician, Chief Superintendent of the Defence Medical Research Laboratories, Deputy Chairman (Scientific) of the Defence Research Board of Canada, Director General of Research Programs and Scientific Advisor to the Minister of National Health and Welfare, Deputy Medical Director of the Canadian Red Cross Transfusion Service, Scientific Editor of the Canadian Medical Association Journal, Associate Professor in the McGill University School of Medicine, and editor as well as contributing author of several medical textbooks. A man of steadfast principle, unwavering integrity and extraordinary generosity, his proudest accomplishments, above all others, were as husband to his loving wife Mary of 63 years, father to two sons, John (Nancy) of Kimberley, British Columbia and Doug (Heather DOW) of Vancouver, British Columbia, three daughters, Pam (Bill SEMPLE) WIGGIN of Ottawa, Ontario, Carol WIGGIN of Victoria, British Columbia and Sue (Brian GUY) WIGGIN of Vernon, grandfather to ten grandchildren, Matthew (Karina HOULE) of Vancouver, British Columbia, Laura (Ryan) CAIN, of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Kate, Robb, Keara, Christopher, Geordie, Alex, Graeme, and Thomas and great-grandfather to Anna and Molly.
