FERRIS, Anna Maria (VANDERSTELT)
In her 60th year, in Brampton Civic Hospital on Saturday, March 15 after a five year battle with chronic leukemia. Anna Maria (VANDERSTELT) FERRIS, beloved wife of Lyle FERRIS. Dear mother of Margaret TRUDGEON of Markdale, Karen FERRIS of Shelburne and Mark FERRIS of Dundalk. Loving grandmother of Charles PALMER, Holly TRUDGEON and Ashley and Rebecca PALMER. Will be sadly missed by sisters Jenny TULEN, Mary JOZIASSE, Johanna (Harry) TIEMENS, Coby FORTIN and Margaret (Dennis) FISHER, brothers John (Linda) and Tom (Helen) VANDERSTELT, a brother-in-law Marvin FERRIS and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Anna Maria (RIP) VANDERSTELT and brothers-in-law Hun TULEN and Brum JOZIASSE. The family received family and Friends at the McMillan and Jack Funeral Home, Dundalk for visitation on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. Interment in Dundalk Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Leukemia Society, World Vision or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

At Strathmere Lodge on Saturday, February 16, 2008, A. Howard MOORE of Glencoe in his 89th year. Predeceased by his wife Florence (Dill) MOORE (1997.) Dear father of Marilyn and Keith CARROLL of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Earl and Mary MOORE of West Lorne, Anne MOORE and Vivian of South Hadley, Massachusetts, and grandfather of Jenny and Rod KEITH, Meghan and Garth HAUGEN, Anne CARROLL and Conner MURPHY, Dan CARROLL and Echo GOODVIN, and Christine MOORE. Also remembered by his great-grandchildren, Kevin, Dexter, Pacey, Kate, Jayde and Payge, his 2 sisters, Neta CARMICHAEL of Ottawa and Helen KENTNER of Brampton, and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor BRADY, Isabel RIPLEY, Alice PATERSON, Nina HURDLE and Isabella DILL and brother-in-law Alfred (Pat) PATTISON. Predeceased by one sister Olive OGG and one brother Evan MOORE. Howard was a member of Lorne Masonic Lodge #282, a Grand Steward of the Grand Lodge, the Mocha Shriners and Trinity United Church, Glencoe. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 20th at 11 a.m. Rev. Kenji MARUI officiating. Interment Appin Cemetery. Lorne Masonic Lodge #282 will conduct a service Tuesday evening at 7: 00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

On Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Parkwood Hospital, Mr. Gordon Pincott DRAPER, peacefully after a difficult illness. Veteran of Royal Canadian Air Force of World War 2. Dear partner and friend for almost 60 years of Margaret (née GRAHAM.) Sadly missed by daughters Anne LOFQUIST (Peter), Catherine GUDEWILL (Peter), Martha POWELL (John) and Grandchildren Katie LOFQUIST; Nicholas, Timothy, Laura and Emma GUDEWILL; Hunter and Adam POWELL. Loving Brother of John and Bill DRAPER. Predeceased by parents George C. Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Saturday, July 12th, 2008, at the L.H.S.C. (Victoria Campus), in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 59 years of Louise (GAUDDET) MacDONALD and dearly loved father of Judith MacDONALD (fiance James TOLMAN) of Saint Thomas, Debbie (Mike) CARRUTHERS of London, Tom Jr. "Skip" (Gina) MacDONALD of London, Phyllis (Leo) BONOMI of St. Catharines, Michael (Liz) MacDONALD of Saint Thomas, Eva NEWHOUSE of London, Philip (Rhoda) MacDONALD, Sybil (Jeff) SMITH, and Paul (Christine) MacDONALD, all of Saint Thomas and the late Jamie MacDONALD. Predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Tom was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia on December 18th, 1926, the son of the late Philip and Eva (RIPLEY) MacDONALD. He lived most of his life in Saint Thomas and was a member of Holy Angel's Church. He was retired from the Department of Public Works. Tom served in the Army during World War 2. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Wednesday morning and then to Holy Angel's Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angel's Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7: 00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Holy Angel's Church Restoration Fund

Passed away at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, on Friday March 21, 2008, in his 85th year. Midge was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #29 Paris. Beloved husband of Mae (née EVANS) loved father of John (Betty) and Zee; cherished grandfather to Holly, Ryan, Jake, Carly, and Maddy; dear brother-in-law to Ethel MIDGLEY, Liz RIPLEY (Bill) and Nancy BROCK, also survived by his nephew, Bob MIDGLEY (Judy) and niece Ellen TAILOR/TAYLOR (David) and several other extended family members. Predeceased by his parents, Weston and Carrie MIDGLEY, and brothers Ted and Bob. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St N. Paris on Thursday from 1-2 p.m. A memorial service to follow in the chapel at 2: 00 p.m. with Father Steven HENDRY officiating. A legion service under the auspice Royal Canadian Legion Branch #29 will be held during the memorial service. Interment later Paris Cemetery.
