On behalf of the Johnston and Whalen families, we would like
to express a big family Thank You. The flowers, cards, memorial
donations, prayers, food and outpouring of love, a single thank
you does not seem enough during the loss of our loving wife,

a professional engineer, was Chief Administrative Officer for
Chatham-Kent and former Chief Administrative Officer of the City
of Hamilton as well as a former Trustee of Halton District School
Board. Special thanks to the Canadian Cancer Society and the
volunteers and staff at The Carpenter Hospice. Visitation at
Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of
Queen Elizabeth Way), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Friday from
3-5 and 7-9 p.m., where a Service of Remembrance will be held
on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m. If so desired, donations
to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Carpenter Hospice, would
