RECOLLET--Dear Mom:
Just a note to say hello, how are you doing and to
say I love you.
What I would give if I could say hello,
Hi, and to hear you answer, or who is out there, Mom
In the same old way.
To hear your voice
To see you smile
To sit with you and chat
While we're quilting, playing cards and paying your bills.
Or out just for a ride, to see what's happening, or shopping.
To hear you talk of the day you had
And who called, and I about my day.
So you who have mothers, cherish her with care.
For you'll never know the heartache
Till you see her vacant chair.
Happy Mother's Day, Mom.
Love you, Helen.
P.S. We do not get over grief, but over time we do learn to live with the
loss. We learn to live a different life with our loss.
