On Monday, June 16, 2008 at Valleyview Nursing Home. Moshe ROJEK beloved husband of Ariela. Loving father and father-in-law of Orly and Harvey STEIN, Avital and Howard PEARLSTON. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Arie and Pnina RAVEH of Israel. Devoted grandfather of Hilete, Shira, Hailey, and Maya. Special thanks to the staff on two west at the Valleyview Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park (Wilson Avenue, east of Keele) in the Beth Radom section at 1: 00 p.m. Shiva 146 Cactus Avenue. RAVEN, W. Ralph (1915-2008)
Passed away peacefully on June 16, 2008 at the York Central Hospital Long Term Care Facility, Richmond Hill. He will be sadly missed by his family Susan and Nelson DOUCET, Jane and John MOLLARD and Nora and Bill PETTIT as well as his ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and dear friend Shirley BUNKER. Pre-deceased by his wife Gwendolyn Mae SMALL. A private graveside memorial will be attended by family members.

Loving father of Chris and wife Patty, Allen and wife Jeanette, Angie and husband John JANSEN, all of Burgessville. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Michael and Eric VAN RAVENSWAAY Melissa and husband Aaron STUBBE, Colleen, Brittany and Bradley VAN RAVENSWAAY; Jeff and fiance Lissa DION, Nicole and Ryan JANSEN. Dear great-grandfather of Carrie STUBBE. VAN DEN BERG, Jacobus Josephus "Jack"
On Friday, February 1st, 2008 in his 57th year, Jack passed away peacefully and honourably at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a courageous five year battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Kathy, and loving son-in-law of Barry and Myrna McKINLAY. Dear son of Jacobus VAN DEN BERG, Sr. Predeceased by his mother Adriana and niece and nephew Rebecca and Aaron RAVINS. His brother Peter and his wife Carole and their two sons Jack and Matthew along with his sister Diana will all miss him deeply. Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave. (4 lights north of Hwy. 7) Markham, 905-305-8508 from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at The Bridge - A Markham Community Church, 5440 16th Avenue, east of McCowan on Thursday, February 7th at 11 a.m. Interment Highland Hills cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Jack's wishes were for donations to be made to "The Bridge Building Expansion Fund" to support their dream of reaching youth and children in the Markham community. The family is grateful to the Palliative Care Unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their compassionate and professional care.
