On Friday, February 1st, 2008 in his 57th year, Jack passed away
peacefully and honourably at Markham Stouffville Hospital after
a courageous five year battle with cancer. Beloved husband and
best friend of Kathy, and loving son-in-law of Barry and Myrna
McKINLAY. Dear son of Jacobus

his mother Adriana and niece and nephew Rebecca and Aaron
RAVINS.
His brother Peter and his wife Carole and their two sons Jack
and Matthew along with his sister Diana will all miss him deeply.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine
Ave. (4 lights north of Hwy. 7) Markham, 905-305-8508 from 7-9 p.m.
on Tuesday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A funeral
service will be held at The Bridge - A Markham Community Church,
5440 16th Avenue, east of McCowan on Thursday, February 7th at
11 a.m. Interment Highland Hills cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
Jack's wishes were for donations to be made to "The Bridge Building
Expansion Fund" to support their dream of reaching youth and
children in the Markham community. The family is grateful to
the Palliative Care Unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital for
their compassionate and professional care.
