Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday 27
January 2008, aged 84, in The Villages, Florida. The daughter
of James Suey and Avis
LEE, she was born in Montreal, and married
Z.J. Norman
LI in 1947. She worked for numerous social service
oganizations, notably as president of the Montreal Young Women's
Christian Association and as chairperson of the Chinese Family
Service of Greater Montreal.
Norma was predeceased by her first husband Norman
LI and her
siblings Eleanor
LOR,
Margaret
LU, and Wilson
LEE. She is survived
by her second husband C.K.
WANG of The Villages, Florida; her
children Cynthia
SCOTT (the late Jon
SCOTT) of Enosburg Falls,
Vermont, Janice
LI
(Tom
KARCZMAR) of Stouffville, Ontario, Andrew
LI (Akio
NAKAJIMA) of Hong Kong, and Nelson
LI (Nancy
RAO) of
Metuchen, N.J.; her siblings Dorothy
HSI of San Francisco and
Douglas LEE of Toronto; and her grandchildren Kate and Christine
KARCZMAR, and Karen, Erica, and Isabel
LI.
The funeral was held on Friday 1 February 2008 in The Villages,
Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Foundation
of Lake and Sumter (http://www.hospicels.org/) or the American
Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org/) would be gratefully accepted.

Funeral services were held at ISNA Mosque at 2200 South Sheridan
Way, Mississauga on Saturday, January 5. Reception will be held
at the Palestine House at 3195 Erindale Station Road, Mississauga
on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (January 5-7) from 6-9 p.m. Special
thanks to Doctor Vincent Maida and all the nurses at Etobicoke General
Hospital as well as the Community Care Access Centre. If desired,
memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Heart and
Stroke Foundation.
