Rein died at home on Friday, February 15, 2008 at the age of
Rein was born in Tallinn, Estonia on January 31, 1935 to Salme
(Sirk) and Ants
RAIMET.
The family immigrated to Canada in 1950.
Rein attended North Toronto C.I. and University of Toronto, School
of Architecture.
Rein spent most of his working years in Vancouver with the architectural
firm of Arthur Erikson and later joined his fellow architects
Bain, Burroughs, Hanse and Raimet.
In later years he lived in Toronto.
Rein will be sadly missed by his dear friend and companion Abeba
ALI and by his sister, Maia
SCOTT; also his family in Estonia
and Vancouver, B.C.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008 at
11: 00 a.m. at The Mount Pleasant Crematorium. No flowers.

RAINFORD in her 91st
year. Predeceased by her husband Maurice. Dear mother of Keith
(Kathy), Donna and Paul (Pam). Grandmother of Marnie, Susanne
and Gregory, Steven and Ryan. Predeceased by her brothers and
sisters Bill, Anne, Jack and Sue. "We love you Mum. You will
forever be in our hearts". Visitation will be held in the Needham
Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street, London on Thursday from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday April 25,
2008 at 11: 00 a.m. at Mount Zion United Church (471 Ridgewood
Cres., London). Interment Woodland Cemetery. Donations in Lyla's
memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer
Society or the Salvation Army.

Sadly, the family announces the passing of Russ
BREMNER at his
home in Toronto on March 20, 2008, in his 87th year. With an
abundance of fond memories, Paula
(HERDMAN,) his life companion,
celebrated 60 years of marriage with Russ and their family on
January 31. His children Lynn, Pam (Jones), Sue (Rainville),
all in Toronto and Dean in Calgary share their mother's loss,
and celebrate the life their father lived with generosity, wisdom
and enthusiasm. Russ was a great friend to Ron

and Lauren

Russ was
predeceased by his brother Bruce
BREMNER and sister Mary
WILSON.
Russ served Canada in the Fleet Air Arm during World War 2, and
later became president of the Montreal Naval Officers Club. His
professional career spanned 27 years of private practice in Montreal
and the subsequent merger of his business with Gardiner MacDonald
in Vancouver. He moved to Toronto with Paula in 1977, and spent
years on the boards of many companies, which benefited from his
intellectual depth and business perspective. He enjoyed a stimulating
life with business associates, many Friends and his wonderful
Paula to confide in.
At Russ'request, a private family service is planned and a celebration
of his life will take place in the coming days.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian head Injury Resource
Services, 62 Finch Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario M2N 7G1 will
be much appreciated.

Martha was born March 29th, 1929. She left us on March 31st,
2008 after coping courageously with multiple health problems
for 35 years. Her passing is mourned by daughter Mary Ellen
