BAUMAN/BOWMAN, M. Jeanne (née BLACKWELL)
Peacefully at Gateway Nursing Home in Wiarton on Thursday February 28, 2008. In her 79th year, M. Jeanne (née BLACKWELL) the loving wife and best friend of Jack for over 58 years. Loving mother of Sheri and her husband Larry PALMER and Catherine and her husband Bryan BAUMAN/BOWMAN. Proud grandmother of Prairie and Sara. Dear sister of Shirley (Mrs. Ralph RAHMAN) and sister-in-law of Nancy BAUMAN/BOWMAN. Jeanne will be lovingly remembered by her best friend Shirley Kress-Hillary as well as her nieces and nephews. Jeanne was very active in Real Estate for many years in Ottawa. All who knew her said she was the kindest, sweetest person you could ever meet. She will be missed dearly. Our sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers at Gateway Haven. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Wednesday March 5, 2008 from 12 noon until 1: 00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1: 00 p.m. Major Charles YOUNG officiating. Cremation has taken place. RAHME, Roy William
(April 1st 1931-June 15th 2008)
Roy will be dearly missed by his wife of 48 years Catherine and his children Ann (Rob), Melissa and Tom (Sarah), and his grandchildren Nicola and Jacob. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Irene in 2007. Roy was born in Oshawa and earned his engineering degree from the University of Toronto. In 1960, he and his new bride moved out west, where he worked for the firms of Crowther MacKay, Dominion Construction and KD Engineering. The couple settled in West Vancouver where they raised their family and restored a heritage home. As a father, he coached for the West Van Minor Hockey League and taught Sunday school at the local United Church. He will be remembered by all for his fairness to others, his athleticism, his strong work ethic, and his sense of fun. He has left the bounds of this earth with our love wrapped tightly around him. Donations can be made to Canadian Mental Health Association, North Shore Branch.

At University Hospital on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, Shirley M. RAHN of London in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Aaron RAHN (1982.) Loving mother of Dennis RAHN and his wife Edie of London. Much loved grandmother of Dan RAHN and his wife Teresa and Dave RAHN and Su all of Waterloo. Loving Nana of Lindsey. Dear sister of Verna HAYDEN and her husband Lloyd of Ancaster. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3: 00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment, Woodland Cemetery.
