She lived in Saint Thomas
most of her life. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin
Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday
at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation
Wednesday from 11: 00-1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the

and raised in England and Scotland. After her 5 year tenure in
the Canadian Women's Army Corps, she immigrated to Canada in
1946. Her love for knowledge provided her with a rewarding and
fulfilling life of reading, music, and art, which she shared
with many devoted Friends. A Memorial Service will be held on
Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore
Road West, Oakville at 2 o'clock. As an expression of sympathy,

her; Carol was a marvellous cook and a fearless adventurer. A memorial

the Lemonville United Church at 13523 McCowan Road in Stouffville,

Nanaimo, British Columbia. Chuck will be fondly remembered by
his uncle Eddie of Calgary, his nephews Dave, Rick and Tom of
Vancouver Island, his cousins and many Friends. Chuck began his
distinguished career with the T. Eaton Company in Moose Jaw,
Saskatchewan, and during his 49 years made invaluable contributions
serving in several senior management roles, culminating in his
position as General Manager of the Toronto Suburban Stores. In
his retirement, Chuck continued his love of retail by volunteering
as a consultant with The Salvation Army for their retail outlet
stores. The family will receive Friends at the R.S. Kane Funeral
Home, 6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding Avenue, south of Steeles,
on Thursday, February 21st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial
service will be held in the chapel on Friday, February 22nd at
