RABBITTS, Larry Mark
Of Saint Thomas, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, February 10th, 2008. Dearly loved husband of 47 years of Patricia (THOMAS) RABBITTS and much loved father of William (Gregory) and Ann Maurie (Daniel) STEVENS. Much loved grandpa of Nicholas, Andrew, Matthew and Christopher. Predeceased by a grand_son Joseph David (Joey) (2004). Sadly missed by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Larry was born in Simcoe on April 6, 1939, the son of the late Mark and Ruby BROADHEAD) RABBITTS. He was retired from the Saint Thomas Police Department. Larry was a member of Talbot Lodge #546 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, Aylmer Chapter #81, R.A.M.G.R.C., Burleigh Preceptory, Murton Lodge of Perfection, Hamilton and the Hi-Ro Shrine Clown Unit. A private family service to be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas. Remembrances would be appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Of Lion's head passed away peacefully at Golden Dawn Nursing Home on Monday, April 28, 2008 in her 90th year. Cherished mother of Herbert (Dolores) RICHMOND of Saint Mary's, Dieann (Murray) STEPHENSON of Pike Bay and Rose Marie (David) WALLER of New Hamburg. Special grandmother to Bill, Mark, Suzanne, Michael, Chad, David Jr., Troy, Shaunna and Chris and 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by brother Reginald and sisters Elenor, Geraldine, Evelyn, Clarice and Marguerite. Marie was predeceased by her husband Gordon, parents Marguerite (ROSE) and George RABIDEAU, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Family and Friends are invited to share their memories on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's head from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at the chapel on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. Pastor Billy STRACHAN officiating. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or Golden Dawn Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. Peacefully at Summit Place in Owen Sound on Sunday morning March 16, 2008. In his 86th year, 'Mike' Myer RABOVSKY, beloved husband of the late Miriam RABOVSKY (née LEVINSON,) loved father-in-law of Bruce RONALD, loving grandfather of Kayla and Seth. Remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving daughter Goldie (Mrs. Bruce RONALD,) by his three sisters Bertha, Lillian and Sadie, and by his three brothers Moses, Irving and Max. Funeral Services will be held at the Beth Ezekiel Synagogue, 313 - 11th Street East, Owen Sound on Monday afternoon March 17 at 2 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. In keeping with Jewish customs no flowers please. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Beth Ezekiel Synagogue would be appreciated by the family.
