HARRIS, Edward Richard
At Bluewater Health - Norman Site, Sarnia on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Edward Richard HARRIS, 93 years, of Petrolia. Ed was a resident of Fiddick's Retirement Home and farmed on Brigden Sideroad in Moore Township all his life. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Evelyn (née (PRUDOM2007,)) his father James (1918,) his mother Mary (1976), and his mother and father-in-law Tom and Millie PRUDOM. Ed is survived by his two sons and their families Allan and Elaine of Petrolia, and their children Susan (Ron BIRD,) Stacey (Tim WILLIAMS) and Patricia (Monia TOUSIGNANT) and Bruce and Mary Ann of Petrolia, and their children Brian (Natallie) and Bradley (Shannon). He will be missed by his five great-grandchildren, Stephen and Andrea BIRD, Ashley, Stephanie and Wesley WILLIAMS and Simon HARRIS. He is also survived by brother and sisters-in-law Martin and Chris PRUDOM, Lillian PRUDOM, Marg PRUDOM, Myrtle MILNER, Lloyd and Leona HARRIS, Ron and June WALKER and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Walter, sisters Laura and Gladys, brothers and sisters-in-law Floyd and Dorothy PRUDOM, Hec and Marg AUSTIN, Charlie PRUDOM and Ernie MILNER. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m., with Connie ELLIS of St. Luke's United Church officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (Pat Mailloux Cataract Clinic). On Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at North York General Hospital. Moniek PRUSZNOWSKI, beloved husband of Golda. Loving father and father-in-law of Rachel and Neil NISKER, Sherry and Ronnie MANDEL, and Hilary and the late Bernie PRUSZNOWSKI. Devoted grandfather of Leah and Ran OFIR, Jessica and Jeremy DONATH, and Joshua, Matthew, Alexandra and Sami NISKER, and the late Adam PRUSZNOWSKI. KAAK, Frederica " Riek" A.W. (née PRUYS)
Unexpectedly at home on Monday, June 9th, 2008, Frederica (Riek) A.W. KAAK (née PRUYS,) loved Mom and Oma, peacefully entered eternal life in her 77th year. Predeceased by her husband Henk (June 8, 1996). They are together again, at last. Riek enjoyed life, playing bridge and serving others through St. Vincent de Paul. Dearly beloved mother of John KAAK (Kim), Ben KAAK (Sandra), Teresa EASTER (Trent) and Lynn KAAK (Ken.) Also predeceased by her infant son Ronny. A very special Oma who loved to spoil Marisa, Jason, David, Kara, Alex, Curtis, Erin and Sean. Sister of Theresa NYLAND (Ben) and Harry PRUYS (Till.) Predeceased by her brothers Joep, Francis, Jan and sister Johanna. Also survived by family members in Holland and Canada. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. (Between King and York). Prayers Thursday at 7: 00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Mary Immaculate Church (Admiral and Trafalgar) on Friday at 11: 00 a.m. Private interment Saint Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Families for Children or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Andrew's Conference.
