At Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Wednesday January 30, 2008. Evelyn SEAMAN (née SMITH) of Southampton in her 89th year. Wife of the late Allen SEAMAN. Loving mother of Joanne and her husband Jim BROWNRIGG of Brea, California, Ron and his wife Mary of Southampton and Thead of Southampton. Proud grandmother of Scott BROWNRIGG and his wife Paulette and Mark BROWNRIGG and his wife Jessica both of Anaheim Hills, California, Jill and her husband Shawn MacDONALD and Derek SEAMAN both of Southampton. Sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Justin and Alyssa BROWNRIGG and Lauren and Caitlin MacDONALD. Dear sister of Helen WEBBER of Owen Sound, Verna and her husband Orville STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of Owen Sound, Kathleen ALEXANDER of North York, Vidal CHEBOTT of Allenford, Isabel and her husband Bob O'LEARY of Owen Sound and Bruce SMITH of St. Catherines. Also survived by her sister-in-law Trudy SMITH of St. Catherines. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, by her Friends of the Community and of the Church. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Emma SMITH, by her sister, Beatrice, by her brothers, Cecil and Alvin, by her sisters-in-law, June SMITH and Lois SMITH and by her brothers-in-law, Jiggs WEBBER and Roy CHEBOTT. Visitation from the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Wednesday February 6, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the Southampton United Church on Thursday February 7, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment Southampton Cemetery. Expressions of Remembrance to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Southampton United Church. Suddenly and peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on Friday February 15, 2008, with his family at his side. John Elton WRIGHT age 79 years (owner/operator of John Wright Motor Sales, Thamesford for 55 years.) Beloved husband of Rhoda (OLIVER) and dear father of Douglas and Laura WRIGHT of Parkhill, Marilyn WRIGHT and Alan BENTLEY of Hamilton and Arlene WRIGHT and Mike O'LEARY of Woodstock. Also loved by 6 grandchildren Gillian and Ashleigh WRIGHT, Timothy and Micha BENTLEY and Nash and Regan O'LEARY and 1 great-granddaughter Tatiana GUZMAN. Also survived by one sister-in-law Myrtle WRIGHT of Nilestown. Predeceased by 2 brothers George and Norman and 2 sisters Doris and Jean. Friends may call at the Harland B. BANNISTER, Stuart James
Tragically as the result of a car accident on Friday, June 13th, 2008, Stuart James BANNISTER, age 29 of Grand Bend. Sadly missed by his mother Mary Jeffrey and her husband Jim CHEVALIER, and his father Gordon BANNISTER and his wife Tran Tu THUY. Loved by his grandmother Irma BANNISTER. Missed by his brother Kurt BANNISTER and his partner Lauren ALEXANDER. Nephew to Ruth and Gord PHIPPS, Tom BANNISTER and Shirley OICKLE, Pat O'CONNELLY, Bill JEFFREY, Steve and Ann O'LEARY, Joan and Aldo ROTONDI. Cousin to Jody and Erik DERKZEN, Jill and Ian LEGG, Hillary and John O'DONNELL, Heather O'LEARY, Mia ROTONDI, John and Karen PHIPPS, Greg PHIPPS, Kelli IRWIN, Amy ROBERTS, Matthew ROBERTS, Kevin and Cathy LOISELLE and Kerri LOISELLE. O'LEARY, Mary Catherine (née FOLEY)
Mary passed away peacefully at the Georgetown Hospital on Thursday, March 13th, 2008 after a determined battle with cancer. She was the best friend and loving wife of Michael and the much loved mother of Catharine and Lee ROBSON, Colleen, Christine and Rob LOCKHURST and Erin. Mary is survived by her brother Father Terry FOLEY and her sister-in-law Eileen FOLEY and was predeceased by her parents Ruth and Leonard FOLEY and her brother Barry. She will be missed by her brother-in-law John O'LEARY and her sister-in-law Maureen and her husband David YOUNG, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive Friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, "Shoemaker Chapel" 55 Mill Street East, Acton, (1-877-421-9860 - toll free) on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Friends are invited to meet the family at the Parish of Saint_Joseph, Patron of Canada, 64 Church Street East, Acton on Monday, March 17th, 2008 at eleven o'clock where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Bob BULBROOK. Jack LEIDL, peacefully, at Rockwood Terrace, Durham, on Saturday, January 12, 2008, at the age of 77.
Jack is survived by his wife Ellen OLESEN; son Barry (B.J.) and his wife Nancy (FAZZARI) of Guelph; granddaughters Spencer, Jordan and Camryn; grand_sons Dylan and Quintin; stepdaughter Cheryl (ROBERTSON) and her husband John BIEL of Guelph and granddaughter Samantha BECKER; and stepson Jeff ROBERTSON of Markdale. Also survived by sisters Erna, Tee and Joan and brother Wink and their families. Predeceased by five brothers and one sister.
At Jack's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held in Guelph at a later date. A memorial will also be held in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia on his birthday and anniversary, Friday, July 18, 2008.
