Peacefully at Hill House Hospice on January 26, 2008, in her 78th year. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Robert (Bob) McKEE in 2004. Dear Mom of Sharon (Jack THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) and David McKEE (Rita ODO.) Beloved " Gee" to David THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON Michael, Margaret and Nicholas McKEE. Will be sadly missed by her many great Friends in Canada and the entire family circle in Northern Ireland. Tragically as the result of a car accident on Friday, June 13th, 2008, Stuart James BANNISTER, age 29 of Grand Bend. Sadly missed by his mother Mary Jeffrey and her husband Jim CHEVALIER, and his father Gordon BANNISTER and his wife Tran Tu THUY. Loved by his grandmother Irma BANNISTER. Missed by his brother Kurt BANNISTER and his partner Lauren ALEXANDER. Nephew to Ruth and Gord PHIPPS, Tom BANNISTER and Shirley OICKLE, Pat O'CONNELLY, Bill JEFFREY, Steve and Ann O'LEARY, Joan and Aldo ROTONDI. Cousin to Jody and Erik DERKZEN, Jill and Ian LEGG, Hillary and John O'DONNELL, Heather O'LEARY, Mia ROTONDI, John and Karen PHIPPS, Greg PHIPPS, Kelli IRWIN, Amy ROBERTS, Matthew ROBERTS, Kevin and Cathy LOISELLE and Kerri LOISELLE. Many good Friends including Patrick SCHLEGAL. Predeceased by his grandparents Ralph and Eileen JEFFREY and grandfather Lorne BANNISTER, also by his uncle Ralph BANNISTER. Stuart was the joy of his mother's life, an avid Gamer and Book Reader. He will be sadly missed by his Friends and family. A Celebration of Stuart's live will be held in the chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home, (102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia 519-336-6042) on Thursday, June 19th, 2008 from 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow. HICKS, Carole Anne
Surrounded by most of her immediate family and treasured Friends, Carole Anne HICKS, in her 69th year, was ushered into Heaven on Thursday, June 19 at 11: 30 p.m. from L.H.S.C. University Hospital. We were able to pray with her, sing to her and say thank you and good-bye. Carole had fought a brief but difficult battle against numerous illnesses. She was a brave wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We are thankful that she no longer has to fight but is now with her Heavenly family. Carole is lovingly remembered by her husband Dave, her children Cam HICKS (Nancy, David, Aaron), her daughter Karen BUTLER (Geoff, Kirsten, Matthew), her brother Glen HABKIRK (Sandie, Arlene, Laurie of Lethbridge,) her sister Wendy ROUSCH (Wayne, Christopher, Darren of Calgary) and her sister-in-law Marilyn O'DONNELL (Peter, Melissa, Jennifer, Erin of Mississauga). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 7 p.m. at The Salvation Army Citadel (555 Springbank Drive). Visitation from 5: 00-6:45 p.m. There will also be a memorial service on Friday, June 27 at 2: 00 p.m. at Zion Amabel United Church in Sauble Beach. At Country Terrace on Friday, July 25th, 2008, James R. O'DONNELL of London in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Jane (KEEGAN) O'DONNELL. Dear father of Aaron and his fiancee Melissa, Andrew, Justin and Jamie. son of Lillian and the late Eddie O'DONNELL. Brother of June and her husband Joseph TUTTLE, Jerry and his wife Cathy, John and his wife Lynne, Jeff and his wife Cheryl, Jeanne and her husband Brian BALCOMB, Jay and his wife Val. Predeceased by his brother Joe. Son-in-law of Ken and Marg KEEGAN and brother-in-law of Dave and his wife Carolyn, Katherine MILES and her husband David SMITH, Ross and his wife Karen. Also survived by his Aunt June as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was a prominent and well respected lawyer specializing in corporate, commercial and real estate law. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 3: 00 p.m. Interment, Woodland Cemetery. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Kyle and Deirdre. Survived by his brother-in-law Thomas WATSON of England. KIRBY, Madeline (June 29, 1912-May 19, 2008)
Mom passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19 at the Leaside Retirement Residence in her 96th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Kenneth KIRBY, Mom will be sadly missed by her sons Paul, Erle and Neil and daughters-in-law Peggy, Susan and Carol-Ann. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Maura, Gregory, Sean, Christopher, Patrick, Jeffrey and Stephanie. Madeline is survived by her dear sister Hilda O'DONNELL. A sweet and gentle woman with a sense of determination, Mom will be remembered for the kind and peaceful way she lived life not wanting ever to be a bother to anyone. A Memorial Mass for Mom will be celebrated on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 10: 00 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd. Toronto (Don Mills Road south of Eglinton Ave.). Born February 20, 1926 in St. Catharines, Ontario. Passed away in Calgary on January 27, 2008 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. For over 56 years, the loving husband and best friend of Jacqueline LaPrairie O'DONOGHUE. Patient and understanding dad of Maureen (Dwayne GRANT,) Colleen (Barrie MARSH,) Michael, Patrick (Sylvie BOIVIN), Daniel (Deborah), Brian, Joseph (Linda), Sean and Shannon. And Lord knows, we needed plenty of patience and understanding. Tremendous grandfather to Jesse, Jacob, (and their mother Kate); Declan, Brynn (and his mother Rami); Stacey, Mitchell, Kyle, Scott; Marie-Claire, Kilian; Kevin, Shane, Katie (and their mother Cathy); Kaitlyn, Andrew; Kelly, Courtenay and Meaghan. Special uncle to 60 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Kevin John, sisters Marie, Eileen, and Patricia and brothers John (CSB) and George. Survived by one sister Hope BOUCHARD, Niagra-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Joe was the sixth of seven O'DONOGHUE children of Joseph and Katherine. He joined the Canadian Navy in 1944. After the war Joe attended University of Toronto, graduating with a B. Sc. in Chemical Engineering. He worked for Foster Wheeler Ltd from 1950 to 1991. Joe will be sorely missed by the many family and Friends whose lives he touched with his kind and loving soul. Funeral Mass February 1, 2008 in Calgary, Alberta, celebrated with Joe's nephew The Rev. Tom of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Georgetown, beloved husband of Bev for over 50 years. Loving father of Phillip and his wife Janet, Karen and her husband Fred McDONALD, Linda GOSS and her husband André FONTAINE and Lorraine GOSS and her boyfriend Ryan CARNEY. Dear Gramps of Freddy, Stanley, Patrick, Matthew and Julie. Dear son of Doris and the late Bert GOSS. Brother of Doug and his partner Doreen WILSON, Larry and his wife Sylvia KING, Carol and her late husband John MARTIN and Janice GOSS and her partner John DENOTTBECK.
