role as a devoted grandmother to Claire, Stephanie, Lauren, Alycia,
Jennifer, Kelly, Cassidy, Rebecca, Drew, Lucas, Maddie, Alanna
and Dylan. Survived by her dear sisters Margaret and her husband
Roy YOUNKER of Cornwall, Prince Edward Island and Norma
QUATSCH
of Kingston, Ontario. Rose Marie will be deeply missed by her
cherished life-long friend Phyllis
GILMOUR as well extended family
and many Friends. Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to
the staff at Sunrise for their care and compassion.
Rose Marie had a very special bond with her late mother Margaret
JOHNSTON (1992.) Her life was highlighted with 5 decades of summers
at The Farm in Innisfil, where she and Nana welcomed everyone
with open arms.
She especially enjoyed her 25 years spent with her colleagues
at Sinclair Cockburn Insurance.
Friends may visit on Thursday, April 10th, from 7-9 p.m. and
Friday April 11th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral
Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A private
family service will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2008. Interment
Pine Hills Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations
may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society.

trouble, Mary loved participating in lawn and carpet bowling,
line dancing, darts, the Seniors Games and was a Life Member
of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary Br. No. 6. Funeral arrangements
are incomplete and will be announced at a later date. Memorial
donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. No. 6, Legion Ladies
Auxiliary or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated and may
be made through the Tannahill Funeral Home 519-376-3710. The
family extends their appreciation to Lee Manor staff, especially
Kelly and Linda for their extra care during Mary's final hours
and special attention from Penny and Sandra.
